CANCELED. Walk, Roll, Stroll Jackson.  6 PM.  The Jackson Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with AARP Michigan, invites residents of all ages and abilities to participate in the free Walk, Roll and Stroll Jackson series. The events are scheduled for May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 2 and July16, with registration starting at 6 p.m. and the program commencing at 6:30 p.m. Participants will go on a non- competitive 3-mile route through local parks. Shorter routes are available. The events will be split between Ella Sharp Park and Cascades Park, with the first Tuesday event listed each month, May 7, June 4 and July 2, at Ella Sharp and the third Tuesday, May 21, June 18 and July 16, taking place at Cascades. For the Ella Sharp events, participants should meet in the soccer fields parking lot off Birchwood Drive. When the program is at Cascades, participants should meet at the pavilion off the S. Brown Street parking lot. Prizes will be awarded at the completion of each event with a grand prize awarded on July 16. Schedules will be available at each event or on the 5th Floor of City Hall, 161 W. Jackson Coffee Hour. 10 AM.  Vista Grande Villa is hosting this month’s Coffee Hour, a networking opportunity for anyone working in or interested in senior care, lifestyle, therapies, healthcare professionals, etc. We will be meeting in the Rose Room at 2251 Springport Road, Jackson

Recipe Club. 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm.  Join us for a casual and relaxed opportunity to share recipes and talk all things food, groceries, and couponing. Share your favorite weekday quick fix, hear the touching story of your neighbor’s Grandma’s Sour Cream cake that is so full of memories, and spend some time connecting with your community through food.  Springport Branch, Jackson District Library.

Slim Nichols at Aggie’s Bike Night.  Come on down to Aggies Bike Night with Slim Nichols performing from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Come out and enjoy some tunes.  Aggie’s, M-50, Downtown Napoleon.

Spring has sprung! Come celebrate the change in season with community strings.
This concert is free and fun for the whole family! Seating is first come, first served. No RSVP necessary. Doors open for seating at 6:30pm. Handicap seating available on main floor only. Parking is street parking only, but street parking is always free, and starts having no time limits past 5pm. Prior to 5pm, it is 2 hour parking only on the street.
