Shop Small, Give Back:  Downtown Jackson Shopping Event.  Some of your downtown businesses have come together to support the Jackson Interfaith Shelter this Giving Tuesday!  Giving Tuesday is a global movement where we recognize the work of non-profit organizations in our community and come alongside to help further that work. On Tuesday, November 28th, the downtown business community is rallying together to donate 5% of sales from the day to the shelter. This is a great day to get downtown, have a meal and do some Christmas shopping. The following businesses are participating: FarmSudz, Rustic Market Co., Marketplace Manna, Windy Hill Creations, Inc., Dirty Bird, Jackson Candle Company, The Blue Julep, Beads to Live By, Blessed Nest.  Mark your calendar, invite a friend and we’ll see you on Giving Tuesday!

Live at the Lab:  Giving Tuesday.  7 AM to 9 AM. Join us in giving back to local, growing nonprofits this Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. Join the movement and give this holiday season whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in OUR local community. At this event, nonprofits who are Members of the Jackson Chamber will set up a booth with information so you can learn about their programs, services, and volunteer/donation needs. We will have coffee, light breakfast, and plenty of networking opportunities! The Jackson Chamber & Home.fm encourage you to make a donation live or online during this Giving Tuesday event. Giving Tuesday at ARE, Inc. Drop In Centers.  All day.  Each year, it is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. After a day of celebrating our gratitude, Black Friday and Cyber take the forefront. It is a global day of giving (which started in 2012) fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. It was created to bring giving and community back to our holiday season.
