Capital Campaign Coffee Hour.  Drop in for coffee and campaign conversation at the Jackson YMCA.  Capital Campaign Chairman Scott McIntosh from Consumers Energy and Jackson YMCA CEO Shawna Tello will be on hand to answer questions.  Get the latest news on the campaign to raise $25 million for the new YMCA.  8 AM to 9 AM, Jackson YMCA, 127 West Wesley, Downtown Jackson.

Tinker Tuesday.  11 AM.  Ella Sharp Museum is hosting “Things Come Apart,” a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution that invites us to see and understand how everyday objects work. In conjunction with the exhibit, we will be offering “Tinker Tuesdays,” a chance for young inventors to explore hands-on Spark!Lab Activity Kits associated with the exhibit and create their own inventions using a variety of supplies at various stations. Join lifelong tinkerer, Dave Kalen from Jackson Makerspace as he shares his enthusiasm and expertise in taking things apart and putting them back together.  Gallery Admission Details: $5 for Adults, $3 for Children, FREE for members.  The Spark!Lab Activity Kits are provided through a grant from the Smithsonian Women’s Committee.

After School Bus-In Program.  Bus-In at the Y engages kids in a wide variety of activities that encourage exploration of who they are and what the can achieve.  The YMCA Blue Bus picks up students at local elementary schools and brings them to the Y.  Program runs until 6 PM, Monday – Friday.  Cost per wee for members is $55, community $75.  Financial assistance is available.  517-782-0537.  Jackson YMCA, 127 West Wesley Street, Jackson.
