Jackson Art Teachers and Students Art Show.  Help us celebrate the important work of art teachers as well as the next generations of artists with the Jackson Art Teachers and Students Art Show. This exhibit features art work from art teachers from all across Jackson County, as well as the work of their students. Now Saturday, April 30th, the show will be FREE to the public from 9a – 6p Wednesday through Sunday.  Art 634, 634 North Mechanic Street, Jackson.

Jackson County Parks Job Fair.  Are you or someone you know looking for a summer job? We are excited to announce that we are hosting a Summer Job Fair for all of the open positions within the Jackson County Parks Department! This will be an in person event where you will have the opportunity to meet with Jackson County Parks hiring managers one on one.  Stop into the new American 1 Event Center and apply and interview on the spot from 3 pm to 5 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

Donation Drive.  Join the Jackson County Department of Health and Human Services in April’s Donation Drive to recognize Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month.  Make your donation of cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, new blankets, socks/underwear of all sizes, diapers, wipes, baby shampoo/wash, sleep sacks, pack-n-plays.  Donation box in JTV lobby, 152 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.  For more information, contact Angela Guadagnina at GuadagniniA@michigan.gov.

Young 5s and Kindergarten Round Up at Paragon.  Incoming Young Five and Kindergarten students are encouraged to join us for Round Up on April 12th and 13th. Parents/guardians can schedule an appointment time by calling the school office at 517-750-9500 or visiting the following link: https://bit.ly/3MFNdPH  April 12th: 8:30am – 7:00pm.  April 13th: 8:30am – 11:30am.

Hanover-Horton School District Kindergarten Round-Up.  9:15 AM to 2:45 PM, April 11th, 12th, and 13th.  Appointments can be made by calling the Elementary School at 517-563-0103.  Please bring your student, their immunization record and an official birth certificate to the appointment.  All children who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2022 are eligible for enrollment.  Find out more here.

Crucifixion Wednesday.  6:30 PM.  Join us as we worship our Savior with songs and Scripture.  Loomis Park Baptist Church, 2301 North Elm Street, Jackson.  All are welcome.
