Off the Clock. 4 PM to 6 PM.  This month’s Off the Clock is bigger, brighter, and merrier, the perfect way to start the season!  Location:  Jackson Crossing Mall. Holiday Kickoff Spot: Alpha Coney Island.  Enjoy an evening featuring:  Live holiday music, Seasonal treats and shopping from local vendors, Coat donations for Dawn Parker Reinhart Realty’s Charitable Foundation Coat Drive — help us spread warmth.  There will be a festive scavenger hunt with fun mini prizes.  Door prizes — be sure to bring your business cards! Off the Clock is your monthly opportunity to connect, celebrate, and support our community. Spine Benders Book Club. Love a good book and great conversation? Come join the Spine Benders Book Group on Wednesday, December 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hanover Branch. Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just looking to meet new friends, this welcoming group offers a fun and relaxed way to connect with fellow book lovers. Bring your thoughts, your curiosity, and maybe even your next favorite read! New members are always welcome—no registration required.

Astronomical Observatory Viewing Night.  9 PM to 11 PM.  Students, employees, and community members are invited to enjoy an evening of stargazing through our campus telescope! Please visit the Astronomical Observatory web page before attending to confirm the event is still taking place, as it may be canceled due to weather conditions.  Jackson College Central Campus.

Karaoke at the Honky Tonk at Oak + Iron.  7 PM to 9:30 PM. Karaoke & Open Mic at the Honky Tonk — where the talent’s local and the crowd’s loud (in the best way).  Grab your friends, pick your song, and make some memories on the big stage.

Nite Lites Drive Thru Christmas Display.  It’s an experience like no other, and a tradition you don’t want to miss! The Nite Lites Drive-Thru Christmas Show is approximately 6 1/2 miles long.  November 22 through January 5,.  Sunday – Thursday 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm;  Friday and Saturday 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm.  Open Rain or Snow.  Open both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.  Michigan International Speedway US-12 Entrances only, 12626 US-12, Brooklyn.
