Utility and Lineworker Information Session.  3 – 7 p.m. James McDivitt Hall, Room 115, Jackson College Central Campus. Learn how this program can open doors to diverse career opportunities. Get tips and insights from our experienced lineman with combined industry experience. See live demonstrations and get a firsthand look at the skills you will develop.

College Catch Up Workshop.  12 – 1 p.m.  Bert Walker Hall, Room 138 – Center for Student Success, Jackson College Central Campus.  Are you new to taking college courses or coming back after taking some time off and want to make sure you have all the skills to get started? The Jackson College Center for Student Success is offering FREE College Catch-Up workshops to help you:  Canvas Training, Learn differences between Canvas and JetStream., Learn to manage your time by building a weekly study/homework schedule.  Learn how to download and use Microsoft Office for free as a student! Students will also review basic computer skills like opening e-mail, creating and saving documents, using different Internet browsers and more. We are offering a similar workshop called Welcome to Canvas that will focus on supporting students who are currently taking the course through Jetway or as a part of their Seminar Life in Pathways course. Drop-IN Art Hour.  Kids ages 5-12 can drop in at the Spring Arbor Branch from 3-4 PM to create an art project. Available while supplies last. No registration required.  Winter dates:  January 15 & 29 and February 12 & 26.  Spring Arbor Branch, Jackson District Library.

Sporcle Triva Night.  7 PM to 9 PM.  Join us for Sporcle Trivia night every Wednesday starting at 7pm! Free to play, win prizes and have FUN!  Grand River Brewery, Downtown Jackson.

Bundle Up with Books. Get into the swing of 2025 and build strong reading habits with a reading challenge!  Bundle Up With Books runs during the month of January and participants can read 4 hours to receive their choice of a Jackson District Library winter hat or maze pen, and be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Visa gift card.
