Escape from the Toy Factory.  10 AM to 6 PM.  You’ve inherited a fantastical toy factory from an eccentric relative, but the missing deed must be recovered from its whimsical offices before the clock runs out!  This escape room experience at the Carnegie Library is intended for ages 6+ and registration is required.

Eager Readers:  Adopt a Reading Buddy Storytime.  6 PM to 7 PM. Get your child eager to practice reading with a new reading buddy at the Summit Branch! Children, ages 5 to 7 will get to adopt a stuffed animal pet as well as enjoy stories, games and a snack. Call 517-783-4030 to register.

Arbor Church Open Gym.  10 AM to 12 PM.  Parents and kids are invited to burn off some winter break energy at the Arbor Church open gym on Wednesday, Jan. 3, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Please enter through door 12 (front gym entrance).  120 E. Main Street, Spring Arbor.  

Winter Break Program:  Ice Lanterns.  Light up the night with your own DIY Ice Lantern! In this hands-on program, families will work together to create and decorate their own illuminated ice lanterns, to be enjoyed outdoors for days to come. This program is suitable for all ages, but small children may require adult assistance. Please note – for ease of transport, ice lantern molds will be created and filled with decorations at the museum, for participants to fill with water and freeze at home. This program is suitable for all ages, but small children may require adult assistance. This experience costs $2 per participant + regular priced admission at the door. Tickets available for purchase online. DJ  Trivia at Suburban Lanes.  7:30 PM to 9 PM.  Featured in great restaurants and bars across the nation, DJ Trivia is a Fun, Live, Interactive Trivia Game that includes you, your team, other teams, and a live DJ host. The live DJ Trivia host will display the questions on TV and offer up a variety of interesting trivia categories including: Movies, History, Music, TV, Science, and more. It’s also great fun for private events and fundraisers! Bring your friends, family, and co-workers to Join in on the Fun with America’s Best Live Trivia Game – DJ Trivia! Nite Lites Drive Thru Christmas Light Show.  Final week!  Michigan International Speedway, US-12 Entrances only.  12626 US-12, Brooklyn.  Now through January 7, 2023.  Sunday – Thursday 5:30 – 9 pm.  Friday and Saturday 5:30 – 10 pm.  Learn about how you can purchase exclusive tickets to ride through on the Nite Lites Express!

Your attendance helps support all our wonderful students on scholarship, and you get to have fun with friends or make new ones at Jackson School of the Arts.
