Star Wars Family Night at the Cascades.  Come on out to the Cascades for another fun filled family night Star Wars addition!! Enjoy live music from FLYTE and a special appearance from the Star Wars crew!!  Show starts at 7:30pm. Admission: $10 for up to 8 Family members.

Michigan Theatre presents Summer Kids Series:  A Dog’s Journey.  Some friendships transcend lifetimes. In A Dog’s Journey, the sequel to the heartwarming global hit A Dog’s Purpose, beloved dog Bailey finds his new destiny and forms an unbreakable bond that will lead him, and the people he loves, to places they never imagined.  11 AM and 2 PM.  $4 Combos  Small Pop and Small Popcorn.  Admission 1 Dollar.  Sponsored by 2019 Annual Spring Tea at Baker College and Kiwanis Club of Jackson.

Family Flow Yoga.  10:30 AM.  Join Yoga Instructor Brittnai Murillo at the Carnegie Library for a fun, family-friendly hour of yoga play outside, including movement and a story. No previous yoga experience is required!  We will have some mats available, but bring your own if you have one.  There is a limited space available, so pre-registration is required. Please call 517-788-4087 to save your spot. This program will take place on the Carnegie front lawn or in the Auditorium in the event of rain. Children under 18 must have a parent to sign a waiver.

One Hour Informational Clinic for Veterans.Orthopedic Rehab Specialists is committed to providing information to our communities about Physical Therapy and the services we provide. This is a no-obligation, free event. As of June 6, 2019, with the passing of the Mission Care Act of 2018, Veterans do not need to travel to Ann Arbor or Battle Creek for Physical Therapy anymore. They can work with ORS with the referral from their doctor. At this FREE event, we will go over the process we use to get Veterans serviced with Physical Therapy and the treatments they can expect to receive. Summer Reading Program.On Wednesdays 11am-12pm .  Explore a “Universe of Stories” with the Mann House and the Concord Branch of the Jackson District Library. Each storytime includes a craft or activity. For children ages 3-9.   7/17- Planets.

Eat Healthy, Be Active.  11 AM to 12:30 PM.  Join Angela Maniachi of the MSU Extension at the Jackson District Library Concord Branch to learn about the benefits of healthy food and regular physical activity! Topics will include reaching and maintaining a healthy weight, preparing quick, healthy, and budget-friendly meals and snacks while managing your food resources.  Get a certificate and gift for attending at least 4 classes!  Call the Concord Branch at 517-905-1379 to register.

Concord Area Players present “State Fair”.  The Concord Area Players Present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s State Fair. Come see the show from July 17-20 at 7pm and July 20-21 at 3pm at the Concord branch of the Jackson District Library. Tickets are $11 for Adults, $5 Dollars for Students. But if money’s a problem, no worries, our first show on the 17th is FREE admission, with an optional donation.

Classic Car Cruise Night at Brooklyn Big Boy.  Cruise in for Classic Cars & Classic Food  Wednesday Nights car hop with Big Boy, enjoy a 10% discount on all things delicious, PLUS drive up  in your classic car for extra special prizes.  DJ on site 50/50, 10 Pies Prizes.  Kids Eat Free.  5 PM to 8 PM.

JPEC Music Department Summer Pops Concert.  6:30 PM, Jackson College Student Center.  Join us in the student center for an evening of some of the best popular music from the 60’s to present day!  Featuring the Concert and Symphonic Bands and Concert and Select Choirs.  Donations will be accepted at the door.
