Cascades Family Night.  Make your Wednesdays the highlight of the week with our Family Nights!  Bring the whole crew out for a night of fun — and take advantage of our special $15 family rate for groups of up to 8. Enjoy extended Splash Pad hours, live music, character appearances, and plenty of activities to keep everyone smiling. Each week brings a brand‑new theme, so there’s always something fresh to look forward to. Stay tuned — you won’t want to miss what’s coming. And when the evening winds down, gather together and end the night with the Grand Light Show at the Cascade Falls. It’s the perfect mid‑week magic. $1 Kids Movie Series:  The Wild Robot.  Join us at the Michigan Theatre for The Wild Robot as part of our Summer Kids Movie Series, sponsored by Kiwanis & Southern Michigan Bank and Trust. After a shipwreck leaves a robot named Roz stranded on a wild island, she must learn to survive in a world full of animals, nature and unexpected challenges. Along the way, Roz forms unlikely friendships and discovers what it means to care for others. A heartfelt, family-friendly movie about kindness, connection and finding where you belong.  Admission is just $1.  Showtimes: 11 AM and 2 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.   Doors open 30 minutes before each showing.  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Home of New Vision Ribbon Cutting. 12 PM to 12:30 PM.  Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of Home of New Vision’s Recovery House with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 22, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. The official ribbon cutting will take place at 12:20 PM. Located at 1401 Greenwood Ave. in Jackson, Home of New Vision is excited to welcome community members, partners, and supporters for an afternoon of celebration and connection. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the team, learn more about the organization’s mission and services and celebrate this important milestone alongside fellow community members. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided as attendees explore the facility and learn about the impact Home of New Vision is making in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community. We invite you to join us in welcoming Home of New Vision’s Recovery House and supporting its continued commitment to recovery, hope, and community impact in Jackson County.
