Jackson Early Bird Toastmasters Educational Meeting.  6:45 AM.  Join the  Jackson Early Birds Toastmasters Educational at Christoff’s Floor Covering Community Room or on Zoom each Wednesday from 6:45-8 am.  Downtown Jackson Michigan contact the Vice President of Membership Doug Brinker at energizerprz13@gmail.com for Zoom details.  We hold specific quarterly Open Houses in September, December, and March. Guests 18 and older always invited! Come learn and grow with Toastmasters a 98 yr old communication and leadership development organization.

Project Fresh.  10 AM to 3 PM.   Join Jackson County WIC’s Project Fresh event and come purchase produce from local farmers. WIC, the health department, and community partners will be present with activities and local resources!  Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children ages 1-5 enrolled in WIC can receive $25 Project Fresh Coupons per family to be used at farmers’ markets. To receive coupons, complete WIC Project Fresh on wichealth.org and bring WIC card or Photo ID. Events at Jackson County WIC or until supplies last.  1715 Lansing Avenue, Jackson.

Kiwanis Summer Kids Movie Series.  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  This week’s movie is “Sonic 2”. Doors open 30 minutes before screening (10:30 AM and 1:30 PM) and show times are 11 AM and 2 PM.   Kids combo, small drink and popcorn $4. Admission is $1. Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Family Night at The Cascades.  Wednesday Family Nights start at 7:30 PM.  Admission is $10 for up to 8 family members.  Tonight, entertainment by Kev Nichols and the Blue Tuesday Band.  International Blues Challenge Finalist, guitarist, singer and songwriter Kev Nichols and his band Blue Tuesday will get your feet tapping with their original and classic blues tunes.  Some of your favorite superheroes will be making an appearance!  Gates open at 7 PM, grand light show at 9:30 PM.

Grow Jackson presents Wellness Wednesdays.  6:30 PM.  Grow Jackson presents Wellness Wednesday nights for families and kids.  745 Tomlinson Street  (Garden, weather permitting).  Tonight, Coach C’s Fitness Strengthening Conditioning.

Hearing & Vision Clinic.  The Jackson County Health Department is hosting Hearing & Vision Clinics every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during July and August from 1 PM to 4:30 PM.  Clinic times are available by appointment only.  There is no cost and the clinic is open to everyone, infants through adults.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 517-788-4395 or text 517-867-0077.  Jackson County Health Department, 1715 Lansing Avenue, Jackson, Room 246.

Ella Sharp Museum Patio Party.  You’re in luck – there’s no need to make dinner on Thursday! We saved space, so you can feast on tacos and nacho salad by Shorties Sweets, Eats & Treats while listening to summer music by Larry Sumner Jr. over drinks (cash bar).
