“Space: A Journey to Our Future” Exhibit. Ella Sharp Museum during open hours. “Space: A Journey to our Future” showcases the ongoing ventures in space exploration encompassing satellites, celestial observatories, and the intricacies of habitation beyond Earth’s bounds. This immersive experience unfolded through cutting-edge interactive displays, accompanied by state-of-the-art projection and audio technologies that seamlessly narrated the tale. Notable elements within this incredible exhibit include: A life-size model of a Lunar Base Camp, offering visitors a firsthand encounter with the lunar living experience. A close-up inspection of NASA’s Constellation Program, featuring a model of the Orion spacecraft set to transport human explorers on lunar missions. A compelling illustrated timeline spanning 50 years captures NASA’s pivotal moments in space exploration. The multifaceted “Future Theatre,” employing multimedia in a 360-degree panorama, provides a visionary glimpse into the prospects of human space travel. “Space: A Journey to our Future” was crafted by Evergreen Exhibitions and presented at the Ella Sharp Museum though May 5th 2024. Spring Bulb Show. 10 AM to 4 PM. Hidden Lake Gardens. Tired of winter? Come enjoy a spectacular showing of daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, amaryllis, and other spring flowers inside the conservatory. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from March 9-24, closed on Mondays. HLG entry fee gives access to all garden attractions, including the bulb show in the conservatory.
