Jackson French Quarter Traditional Jazz Band.  7 PM.  Kicking off the Jackson College Summer Concert Series, enjoy traditional Dixieland jazz favorites. Enjoy an outdoor concert on the back patio of the Potter Center. Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair, while some chairs will be available. The concert will move indoors in case of inclement weather.  Free!

Red Cross Blood Drive.  10 AM to 3:45 PM.  The Red Cross needs blood donors to meet demand. Consider donating at a blood drive at Jackson College on Wednesday, May 31 in Bert Walker Hall Community Rooms.  http://ow.ly/TSVS50Oy92f

Kids Planetarium Show Imagine the Moon.  12 PM.  When was the last time you looked at the Moon? Not Just noticed it, but really looked at it? To most of us the Moon seems like an afterthought, a thing we might notice in passing and then not give a second glance. But the Moon’s place in our lives is so much more than just its physical presence in the sky. It is a constant companion in our collective imagination.  Hurst Planetarium, Ella Sharp Museum.
