Opening Day at the Farmers Market. 4 PM to 8 PM.  Grass Lake Farmers Market and Music in the Park opening day celebrations include free giveaways, fabulous vendors, and live music!  Market hours are 4 pm-7 pm.  Music in the Park is 6:30 pm to 8 pm.  Musical performance by Kyle Neely. May the 4th Be With You.  All Day.  One North Kitchen and Bar.  One North will be taking over the Empire with the first May the 4th celebration. Pack your jedis in the Millenium Falcon and fly over to take part in costume contests, karaoke, kids activities and a themed menu, including the Yoda-Rita, Han Burger and the Bananakin SkyFoster! 2115 Bondsteel, Jackson.

Zen Garden for Relaxation.  Jackson District Library.  Create a Zen Garden to help you relax and unwind at the end of the day. Supply kits will be available at all JDL branches beginning May 2, while supplies last.  This activity is best for adults or children 6+.

Live Entertainment at 308 Brass Rail.  8 PM.  Piano Solo.  Join Josh Johnston for a night of fun, and some chill time, at the 308 BrassRail as Josh will be playing piano solo. Performing fun sing-along songs behind the Piano bar!  308 Brass Rail, 308 West Prospect Street.

Head Start and Early Head Start Sign-Up.  Community Action Agency is now accepting registrations for Early Head Start (pregnant women and ages 0-3) and Head Start (age 3 or 4 by December 1st).  Picture a bright future!  Apply now by calling 517-539-8336 or visiting greatstartjackson.org.

Summer Day Camp Registration.  Jackson YMCA Summer Day Camp, which begins June 13, will be here before you know it, and kids, teens and young adults can join us for a great summer of fun activities. Kids ages 4-14: Registration is open, and you can download our brochure on our website. Sign up for a week or the whole summer! Financial assistance is available.  The Jackson YMCA is also hiring positions for Counselors in Training (ages 14-15), Camp Counselors (ages 16 and up) and lifeguards.   Applications for all positions are available on our website.
