Astronomical Observatory Viewing Night.  9 PM to 11 PM.  Students, employees, and community members are invited to enjoy an evening of stargazing through our campus telescope! Please visit the Astronomical Observatory web page before attending to confirm the event is still taking place, as it may be canceled due to weather conditions.  Jackson College Central Campus.

Nom Nom November – Free Community Meals.  5 PM to 6 PM.   1208 Greenwood Church is opening its doors every weekday from 5–6 PM for the rest of November to provide free meals to anyone in need. Come as you are, enjoy a warm meal, and share community with us. Each day will feature a different menu of the day, prepared with care and open to all. Coal Train and A-Dubb at Honky Tonk at Oak + Iron.  7 PM.  Join us at The Honky Tonk at Oak + Iron for a Thanksgiving Eve party with Coal Train. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m. After the show, we will have DJ A-Dubb playing the latest country music you can dance to. 151 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.

Winter Warm Up at Grand River Brewery.  Our “special” beers will be available at 5pm for $4 pint, until they are gone!!  PLUS Joel Randolph on the piano and mic (6 to 9 PM).! Aggie’s Annual Thanksgiving Eve Bash.  7 PM to Midnight.  Kick off your holiday weekend with good vibes, great drinks, and the hottest tracks spun by DJ Jimmy Jam!   Average Joes (21+ Side). Turkey Day Pre-Game at 127.  Usher in the beginning of the holiday season right, with us! We will be serving up your favorite beers while also releasing our seasonal favorite of “Where’s My Kilt”. We will also be hosting “The Over-Stuffed Spud” from 4-8pm and have “Root Station” playing live from 6-9pm. We will be keeping the brewery open late, until everyone is ready to go home anyways.  127 Brewing, 3090 Shirley Drive, Jackson.

Nite Lites Drive Thru Christmas Display.  It’s an experience like no other, and a tradition you don’t want to miss! The Nite Lites Drive-Thru Christmas Show is approximately 6 1/2 miles long.  November 22 through January 5,.  Sunday – Thursday 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm;  Friday and Saturday 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm.  Open Rain or Snow.  Open both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.  Michigan International Speedway US-12 Entrances only, 12626 US-12, Brooklyn.   Ticket Booth is 15 minute Drive off of US 12.   Entrances Gate 8 Or Gate 14 thru our spectacular Pre Show. WEST bound – use Gate 8 Entrance, EAST bound – use Graves Farm Entrance Gate 14.  Info and tickets here.
