Jackson Community Forum:  The Future of Recycling in Jackson County.   Are you having trouble recycling glass? Join Nicole Vanderploeg, Program Manager Jackson County Conservation District; Granger Waste Services and Recycling Jackson to discuss the future of recycling in Jackson County.  Topics will include what is currently happening with recycling facilities, what challenges are being faced, and predictions for changes in the industry.  This program will take place at the Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.  6 PM to 7:30 PM For more information, contact the Adult Services Department at adultservices@myjdl.com or 517-905-1399.

Kawaii Cross Stitch 101.  Join us at the Jackson District Library Meijer Branch to learn how to cross stitch adorable kawaii characters!  We’ll meet 3 times to learn the craft from start to finish, with lots of cute kawaii designs to pick from. Jackson Camera Club Meeting.  The Jackson Camera Club meets most first and third Wednesdays from September through April at 7 pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1505 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI. Salvation Army Christmas 2019 Toys, Warm Clothes and Food Family Signup.  The Salvation Army of Jackson County (806 E. Pearl Street Jackson) is signing up families for its Christmas 2019 distribution of food, warm clothing & toys. This program offers families the extra support they need, providing warm clothing, toys for children age 0-14 years old and a plentiful Christmas food box with all the fixings for a special dinner.  The Christmas 2019 Food, Warm Clothing & Toy sign-up schedule today is 2 PM to 7 PM.

Comedy Night at the 308 Brass Rail.  On this episode of The Future of Comedy Show at the 308 Brass Rail  We have internationally touring headliner Jason Allen.  Featuring your friend, Mike Ball!
