Cleaning Up the MLK Equality Trail.  Join volunteers from People for the Parks and Trails as we get together to clean up the MLK Equality Trail! This is Jackson’s main pedestrian trail that goes from Downtown Jackson to the Falling Waters Trail. Litter is a known problem along this trail, so we believe picking up trash will help this busy trail look its best! Join us at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1. Volunteers will meet at New Leaf Park, which is located at 1930 Fourth St. If the parking lot is full, park on nearby Park Road. The time commitment is expected to be around 1 hour. Equipment will be provided by the Parks and Recreation Dept. Email peoplefortheparksjackson@gmail.com if you have any questions. Sign up for this volunteer opportunity by visiting https://www.cityofjackson.org/…/Mulching-the-playground…
