JXN Community Forum:  Should Politicians Choose Their Voters?   Redistricting  in Michigan.  Learn what Redistricting is and how it is affecting you.  A presentation by the League of Women Voters will explain gerrymandering, including its history, the current situation in Michigan, and methods used by other states to redistrict. The Michigan ballot initiative, to have an independent redistricting commission, will be explained, along with its current status.  The JXN Community Forums are free and open programs to facilitate dialogue about challenging issues of our day.
