Good Morning Greater Jackson. a live radio broadcast that features 5 chamber members, a hot breakfast, and lots of open networking. The month’s show sponsor is: Center for Family Health.  The breakfast and program begin at 7:30am and runs to 8:30am at Bella Notte Restaurant, 137 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson. $10 for Chamber members if paid in advance; $15 at the door  $20 for Future Chamber members if paid in advance; $25 at the door.

The Michigan Theatre presents the Summer Film Series sponsored by the Kiwanis Clubs of Jackson and Brooklyn.  This week’s movie is “Boss Baby”.  Showtimes at 10am and 2pm.  Admission is $1.  Doors open one half hour before movie begins.

The Jackson Recreation Department presents “Senior Splash”, at Nixon Waterpark, from 9am to 10:30am.  Warm therapeutic recreation for senior citizens with a zero depth entrance.  $2 per session.

The Grand River Farmers Market is open today from 8am to 2pm at Grand River Marketplace, corner of Mechanic Street and Glick Highway.  A variety of seasonal produce, flowers, plants and other vendors in attendance.  Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through the fall.  Sponsored by the Jackson DDA.

Workshop with Bonus Saves.  Art 634 presents mural artist Bonus Saves today from 5pm to 7:30pm at Art 634, 634 North Mechanic Street in Jackson.  Using non-toxic water based spray paint, learn to fade, stencil and design with symbolism on an 11×14 canvas board. $50 all supplies included.  Email carriejoers@art634.com with questions.
