Journey: Watermedia Works by Joyce Grace. Current exhibit at the Ella Sharp Museum. Joyce Grace works in watermedia and colored pencil, creating colorful, whimsical works on paper. Her paintings have been shown in numerous national and regional exhibitions and are featured in Northlight Books “Splash Five,” American Artist Magazine and Rockport Press “Best of Watercolor: Painting Composition.” Joyce holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Michigan and is a signature member of Watercolor West. Chinese Calligraphy Class at the Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library. Presented by Xuezhen Fan. 1:30-3:30 PM. Learn the basics of Mandarin (both written and verbal). This class is intended for anyone with an interest in Mandarin, regardless of previous experience with the language. Intended for teens and adults.
