The Jackson School of the Arts invites you to the Valentine’s Day “Ballooning of the New Building”, at the former Masonic Temple/Vermuelen’s building on Cortland Street, Downtown Jackson.  Tons of red, pink and white balloons will decorate the front of the building.  All are invited to come by for a selfie.  Post to Facebook with hashtag #lovejsa.

Race Relations in America Film Series.  Celebrate Black History Month at the Carnegie Branch Library as we view African-American  centered cinema and have an open discussion after the film. This event is co-sponsored by Jackson Area Civil Rights Awareness Association.  Wednesday, February 14 at 6 p.m.

Like Totally Boss 80’s Valentines Day Dinner at GRB.  Break out your leg warmers and Members Only jackets cause GRB is taking it back to the best(worst?) decade ever this Valentines Day.   Grand River Brewery, Downtown Jackson.  5 PM to 9 PM.  All are welcome to enjoy a special menu or the regular menu.  We’ll be screening 80’s movies, playing 80’s music and serving 80’s food specials all night long.
