JATA will be sponsoring a Food Drive in conjunction with the Salvation Army of Jackson. All fixed route customers that make a non-perishable food donation will be allowed to ride for free today. All donations must be unopened and unexpired.

Capital City Brass Band at The Bohm Theatre of Albion.  CHRISTMAS IN ALBION! Join us Wed, Dec 13th at 7pm for the first annual Christmas at the Bohm, featuring the Capital City Brass Band and “A Highland Christmas”. The Capital City Brass Band (CCBB) was the FIRST live music performance in the refurbished Bohm Theatre in 2014, and is back for 2017 and planned for every year going forward.  Free Admission (Donations accepted).  For more information Click Here.

A.D.A.M. – Another Day, Another Memory is moving to Catholic Charities.  A.D.A.M. is a non-profit organization that has been providing grief support for bereaved families of Jackson since 2009. The organization is being realigned to fall under the leadership of Catholic Charities. Groups Beginning Wednesday evening, November 29, with no cost t will meet at Catholic Charities, 3425 Francis Street in Jackson. Group meetings each Wednesday include a 6:15 p.m. potluck dinner, followed by grief support groups that meet from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Groups are held for children (4 years of age and older), teens, and adults. Those interested in attending can call Catholic Charities at 517-782-2551. Volunteers are also needed to assist on Wednesday evenings every other week.

Le Monde en François. Calling all high school and college aged French speakers! Join us every Wednesday from 4:30 PM to 6 PM. for the Jackson District Library new French Club. This is your opportunity to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in French. Every week alternates between group meetings and study sessions. This is a French speaking group, not French language lessons. Intended for ages 16-23.  Carnegie Branch, Downtown Jackson.

The Jackson YMCA 25×25 Campaign will be hosting Dine and Donate, today at Buffalo Wild Wings, all day long.  Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 20% of sales to the Campaign.  Show a flyer, picture or this note at the restaurant for eligibility. 

The Christmas Art Show by K Gallery.  We will be hosting 30+ outstanding regional artists in a variety of mediums for four weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas at the Southpoint Plaza in Jackson. (1931 Horton Road, Suite 12) Open Wednesdays through Saturdays Noon to 7 pm, Sundays Noon to 4 pm.

Nite Lites Holiday Light Display at Michigan International Speedway.  Now through December 30.  Michigan International Speedway.  US-12 Entrance only, 12626 US-12, Brooklyn.    Time: 5:30 pm – 9 pm Sunday thru Thursday.  5:30 pm – 10:00 pm Friday & Saturday.  Pricing: $20 per car / vehicle, $35 per mini-bus, $65 per tour bus.
