
The Jackson County Rose Queen and Teen Blood Drive is today at First United Methodist Church, 275 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson from 12 PM to 5:45 PM. You may schedule an appointment at redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code rose queen. Candidates for Miss Jackson County Rose Queen and Miss Jackson County Teen USA will be in attendance along with reigning Rose Queen Ashley Sierminski and Miss Jackson County Teen USA Ellery Hill. The need for blood is even greater during the summer months and the Red Cross appreciates your support. For each donor who successfully donates blood, the Red Cross will donate $10 that will go towards scholarships awarded at the 2017 RoseQueen and Teen pageants in August. Please come out and support two wonderful organizations.
The Michigan Theatre presents the Kiwanis Summer Kids Film Series today at 10am and 2pm. This week’s movie is Storks. Admission is $1 and doors open one half hour before film.
The Grass Lake Farmers Market is open today at the Depot in downtown Grass Lake. Hours are 4pm to 7pm. Live entertainment is featured every Wednesday evening during Market hours.

Cascades Family Night Concert Series continues tonight at 7pm at The Cascades. Steve Berkemeier’s original songs and renditions of popular classic and contemporary songs have entertained audiences throughout the state of Michigan for more than twenty years. This home coming celebration will feature many members of his extended family. Admission is $10 per family.
