Red Cross Blood Drive, 10 AM to 3:45 PM at Jackson College, Central Campus.  Winter weather in parts of the country caused the cancellation of more than 270 blood drives, resulting in an increased need.  www.redcrossblood.org.

United Way of Jackson County’s 82nd Annual Meeting.  5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Ella Sharp Museum.  Tickets are $30.  Join us for the launch of a new initiative that will strengthen Jackson County workers, families, businesses and the community.  www.uwjackson.org. 

Women’s History Month Film Series at the Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.  Each documentary in this six-part series examines the impact of the women’s movement on six fields once largely closed to women. Directed by some of the country’s leading independent filmmakers, MAKERS brings to life new and unforgettable stories that every woman, man, girl and boy should know.  Women in Business (2014, TV-PG) and Women in War (2014, TV-14).  6 PM to 8 PM.  Free admission.  This series contains mature content, including language that may not be appropriate for all viewers.

Fandom Trivia:  Marvel Universe.  The Meijer Branch of the Jackson District Library invites you to Join us each month to test your fandom knowledge and compete to win prizes! Trivia rounds will cover characters, TV seasons, movies, crossovers, and more. Play in teams or on your own. Bonus points will be rewarded to those who come in costume. Join us Wednesday, March 28 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Intended for tweens and teens (ages 12+).
