Annual YMCA Pie and Bake Sale, Downtown Branch, Jackson YMCA.  7 AM until we run out!  Choose from a large variety of Thanksgiving pies and baked goods.  Early shoppers get the best selection.  Proceeds benefit childrens programs at the YMCA.

Nite Lites 5K Run/Walk.  The magic of the Nite Lites Christmas Display has a new home! This newest family tradition is moving to Michigan International Speedway and the 2017 season promises to be brighter than ever with the 4th Annual Nite Lites Christmas 5K Fun Run/Walk  with a 6:00PM 5K Fun Run and a 5K Walk at 6:30PM.  The animated course will once again be offered to 5K Fun Run/Walkers before automobile traffic is permitted. They will delight in the open air experience at Michigan International Speedway as they travel a paved course with over a million dancing lights.  The event will also include visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, concessions, candy canes, Santa hats, and more all designed to bring families together and get everyone into the perfect holiday mood.  On-site Race Day registration 2:00PM – 7PM.  5K Fun Run 6:00PM.  5K Walk begins 6:30PM  Start & Finish:  Michigan International Speedway 12626 US Hwy 12 Brooklyn.  View Details and Register HERE.

The Jackson YMCA 25×25 Campaign will be hosting Dine and Donate, today at Applebee’s from 6PM to 9PM.  Applebee’s will donate 10% of sales to the Campaign.  Show a flyer, picture, or this note at the restaurant for eligibility. 

Wednesday Night Cheap Skate at Allskate Fun Center.  6:30-8:30pm Skate & Laser Tag.  Admission is only $4 and skate rental is $2 (Skates or Blades).  Laser Tag:  1 play $5, Double play $8.  Family & Group Rates Available.  Hot Dog & Pop only $2.  Allskate Fun Center, 1313 West North Street.

Pop Pilates at Spring Arbor Branch, Jackson District Library.  Join us every Wednesday at 9 AM for Pop Pilates with Allie. Suggested donation of $3. Intended for adults.  Spring Arbor Branch 517-750-2030 113 E. Main St. Spring Arbor.

Winter Warmup Homecoming Party at Grand River Brewery.  Join us at Grand River Brewery the night before Thanksgiving for a homecoming celebration to begin the holiday season!  Our talented brewer Wyatt Andrews will be creating many exclusive short run beers, all of which we’ll be selling for $3.50 per pint. Some vintage classics that you’ve almost forgot about and some super special ones you’ll never see again.  5 PM to 11 PM, 117 W. Louis Glick Highway, Downtown Jackson.  The availability of these beers will be extremely limited (only one 1/6 barrel of each!) so don’t miss out!

The Night Before Thanksgiving at the Foundry.  The most epic bar night of the year! Le Monde en François. Calling all high school and college aged French speakers! Join us every Wednesday from 4:30 PM to 6 PM. for the Jackson District Library new French Club. This is your opportunity to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in French. Every week alternates between group meetings and study sessions. This is a French speaking group, not French language lessons. Intended for ages 16-23.  Carnegie Branch, Downtown Jackson.
