Division 1 at Mason
Western 47, Holt 46: Reece Hitt connected on a 3-point shot with 7 seconds remaining in the game for the one-point win. Hitt finished with 11 points and Alyna Lewis scored 21 points for Western (21-1). The Panthers will advance to the Division 1 regional at Mattawan on Tuesday.
Division 3 at Homer
Leslie 59, Springport 44: Springport finishes the season with a 16-6 record following a loss to Leslie in the Division 3 district final at Homer. Leslie is 20-2 on the season and will advance to the Hudson regional on Tuesday.
Division 3 at Lumen Christi
Grass Lake 66, East Jackson 47: Grass Lake advances to the regional tournament at Hudson with the win over the Trojans. The Warriors are 16-5 on the season while East Jackson ends its season with a 17-5 record. Grass Lake will face Columbia Central on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the regional semifinal at Hudson.
Division 3 at Manchester
Columbia Central 39, Jonesville 35: The Golden Eagles are 17-4 on the season following the district win over Jonesville. The Comets end the season with an 18-4 record.
Boys basketball
Vandercook Lake 65, East Jackson 55: Vandercook Lake earned the outright Cascades Conference championship with the win. The Jayhawks are 18-2 heading into district basketball play. Shonte Potter scored 24 points and had 10 rebounds for East Jackson (4-15).
Hanover-Horton 67, New Lothrop 47: The Comets got a win in the final live broadcast on JTV this basketball season. Hanover-Horton is 10-10 on the season.
