Hillsdale Academy Invitational: Jackson Prep & Early finished third in the boys’ race and fourth in the girls’ 5K event. Diego BoCole finished fourth in the boys’ race in 18:31 for JPEC. Olivia Ortell led JPEC in the girls’ race with a time of 23:13, good for ninth place. 

Girls golf

Columbia Central, Concord at Madison jamboree: Columbia Central High School finished second to Lenawee Christian, 172-186 and Concord finished fourth. Logan Bentley of Columbia Central scored a 37 to lead all golfers and Hannah Stimer shot a 48 to lead Concord.    

Lumen Christi, Western at Marshall Invitational: Lumen Christi Catholic High School won the 18-hole event with a four-man total of 340 and Western finished 10th at 410. Ashley Hilderley scored a 77 to tie for medalist honors and Anna McClure and Michaela Hauer shot 85s for the Titans. Lauren Blunt scored a 93 and Maddy Wolf tallied a 95 for Western. 

Boys tennis

Jackson 5, Adrian 3: The Vikings swept the singles’ matches with wins by Andrew Hesslau, Logan McKinney, Ty Northrup, and Tobin Warren at Nos. 1 – 4 respectively. The victory is the first of the year for Jackson (1-5).
