Hillsdale 5, Columbia Central 1: The Hornets scored one run in the sixth inning to pull out the win. Ryan Whipple finished with two hits and an RBI for CCHS.
Northwest 5, Western 1: Gage Race pitched a complete game for the Mounties in the win and collected three hits at the plate. Douglas Putnam also had a pair of hits for NWHS in the win. Jack LaPorte finished with two hits for the Panthers.

Northwest 8, Western 6: Alex Thrun collected two hits and Wil Herman got the win for Northwest. Jack LaPorte, Ben Parrott, Ethan Wagner, and Dave McAninch tallied multiple hits for Western.
Lumen Christi 15, Pennfield 0: Max McCluskey had two hits and knocked in five runs for the Titans. Gabe King earned the pitching win with seven strikeouts.
Lumen Christi 8, Pennfield 4: Brodie Gregory had three RBIs for the Titans in the win.
Softball
Columbia Central 23, Hillsdale 3: Columbia Central scored 13 times in the second inning against the Hornets. Ava Lyke hit a home run and Bri Boone finished with two hits and two RBIS for CCHS.
Columbia Central 25, Hillsdale 0: Kelsey Fausz finished with a pair of hits and four RBIs and Rylee Knapp and Gianna Evans each finished with three RBIs for CCHS in the blowout win.
Lumen Christi 17, Pennfield 6: Emma Smiley hit a home run and knocked in three runs for the Titans in the win. Lily Ganton also collected two hits and four RBIs as the Titans exploded for 10 runs in the fifth inning.
Lumen Christi 11, Pennfield 1: Riley Okoniewski had two hits and two RBIs for the Titans in the win. Emma Smiley, Allison O’Dowd, and Bree Okoniewski had multiple hits for Lumen Christi in the victory. Bella Wrozek earned the pitching win with eight strikeouts for Lumen Christi (4-4).
Western 6, Northwest 1: Abby Nieswender hit a home run and knocked in three run for Western in the road win. Hailey Whisman earned the pitching win with seven strikeouts for the Panthers.

Northwest 2, Western 1: Ari Good hit a solo home run to break a 1-1 tie in the seventh inning for the Mounties. Lucy Bivens earned the pitching win for NWHS with six strikeouts. Hailey Whisman struck out 11 batters for Western in the loss.
Girls track and field
Grass Lake, East Jackson at Michigan Center: Grass Lake defeated Michigan Center (103-26) and East Jackson (105-25). Michigan Center defeated East Jackson (72-35) at the tri-meet at MCHS. Grace Bullock of Grass Lake won the 100-meter dash (13.39) and the 400-meter dash (1:07); and teammate Lorelia Malinowski won the 110-meter hurdles (20.71) and the 300-meter hurdles (58.61).
Hanover-Horton 68, Manchester 62: Sophia Reynolds took first place for the Comets in the 200-meter dash (29.2) and the 400-meter dash (1:03) and Olivianna Watkins swept the hurdle events for HHHS with a win in the 100-meter hurdles (17.89) and the 300-meter hurdles (51.62). Hanover-Horton won three of the four relays gaining valuable points against the Flying Dutchmen.
Chelsea 100, Jackson 37: Keiyera Johnson of Jackson won three individual events taking first place in the 100-meter hurdles (17.01), the 300-meter hurdles (51.06), and the long jump (14-9.5).
Vandercook Lake, Addison at Napoleon: Napoleon defeated Vandercook Lake (129-1) and Addison (108.5-27.5), and the Panthers defeated the Jayhawks (95.5-9.5). Alyssa Budd of Napoleon won the long jump (17-2), tied for first in the pole vault with teammate Avery Brown (7-6), and won the 100-meter dash (12.9). Ann Roedel won the high jump (4-4) and the 400-meter run (1:06) for Napoleon. The Pirates won all four relays to pile up points in the tri-meet.
Boys track and field
Grass Lake, East Jackson at Michigan Center: Grass Lake defeated Michigan Center (86.5 – 50.5) and East Jackson (85 – 45) and Michigan Center defeated the Trojans (87-49). Andrew Stockton of Grass Lake won the 100-meter dash (11.7) and the 200-meter dash (24.04); Michael Allen won the 800-meter run (2:12), the 1,600-meter run (5:07), and the 3,200-meter run (11:00) for the Trojans; and Noah Wisniewski of Michigan Center won the 110-meter hurdles (17.58) and the 300-meter hurdles (44.2).
Hanover-Horton 77, Manchester 49: Graham Gumper of Hanover-Horton won the 100-meter dash (11.62) and the long jump (18-1.5)
Chelsea 77, Jackson 60: Kyson Cooper of Jackson won the 110-meter hurdles (17.31) and the 300-meter hurdles (45.27). The Vikings won three of the four relay events with the Vikings’ “B” team beating everyone in the 400-meter relay (46.82 seconds).

Vandercook Lake, Addison at Napoleon: Napoleon High School defeated Vandercook Lake (126-9) and Addison (111-25), and the Panthers beat the Jayhawks (80-24). Kyler Pequet of Napoleon won the 1,600-meter run (5:32) and the 3,200-meter run (14:31), teammate Gavrik Belcourt won the 110-meter hurdles (15.8) and the 300-meter hurdles (45.6); and the Pirates swept all four relays for the big wins.
Girls soccer
Dansville 1, Northwest 0: The Mounties lost a heartbreaker on the road Tuesday night.
East Lansing 8, Western 0: The Panthers lost on the road in a non-conference match against East Lansing.
Boys golf

Cascades Conference jamboree (Calderone): Hanover-Horton won its second consecutive jamboree with a win on a cold and windy day at Calderone Golf Club. The Comets finished with 176, Grass Lake and Napoleon tied at 189 (Grass Lake wins the tiebreaker), and Michigan Center was fourth scoring 198. Brady Applegate earned medalist honors with a 40 for the Comets and Brody Shannon of Michigan Center was second with 42.
Girls tennis

Lumen Christi 8, Columbia Central 0: Maggie Page, Michaela Hauer, Olivia Eaker, and Genevieve Brawner lost only four games in winning singles’ matches from No. 1 to 4 respectively for the Titans. It was the first match of the season for Lumen Christi.
