Grass Lake 14, East Jackson 3: The Warriors turned it up after being tied 2-all early in the contest. Luke Guthrie finished with three hits and two RBIs and Max Schafran collected two hits and three RBIs for GLHS.
Grass Lake 12, East Jackson 2: Amarr Hunter finished with a pair of hits for East Jackson. Brayden Lape finished with three hits for the Warriors.
Tecumseh 12, Jackson 0: Kaspar Haehnle finished with two hits on the night for the Vikings.
Tecumseh 16, Jackson 0: Jackson High School posted only one hit in the SEC loss.
Springport 14, Bath 9: Travis Riehle finished with three hits and three RBIs for Springport.
Springport 6, Bath 4: The Spartans scored six runs in the first three innings for its second win of the season.
Softball
Grass Lake 11, East Jackson 0: Olivia Turner finished with four hits – including a home run – and four RBIs in the win. Laney Brown limited the Trojans to two hits while striking out 10 batters.
Grass Lake 22, East Jackson 0: Bree Salts, Olivia Turner, and Rylee Fitzpatrick each hit home runs for the Warriors. Laney Brown and Morgan Conrad combined on a two-hitter for GLHS (13-1).
Tecumseh 20, Jackson 0: Jackson High School could only muster two hits in the home loss.
Tecumseh 18, Jackson 0: The Vikings were no-hit in the four-inning home contest.
Northwest 11, Michigan Center 1: Ava Golightly had two hits and knocked in two runs for the Mounties. Lucy Bivens earned the pitching win for NWHS with nine strikeouts.
Northwest 15, Michigan Center 8: Northwest High School scored seven times in the third inning to regain the lead. Ava Golightly finished with three hits – including a home run – and three RBIs. Madi Dixon recorded two hits and two RBIs for NWHS. Mackenzie Fredrickson finished with three hits and three RBIs for the Cardinals.
Bath 13, Springport 12: Springport High School scored three runs in the final inning but could not pull even with Bath. Kelsey Speer hit a home run and knocked in five runs for the Spartans.
Bath 19, Springport 12: Brenna Crittenden tallied five hits for the Spartans in the loss.
Girls soccer
Columbia Central 2, Blissfield 1: Jaden Bates scored the game-winning goal for CCHS with six minutes remaining in the game. Alyssa Stewart scored the first goal for the Golden Eagles (4-2-1, 3-1-1 LCAA).
Grass Lake 1, Michigan Center 1: Cecelia Scaife scored on a penalty kick drawn by Lydia Meyer on a great run into the 18 yard box. Grass Lake scored late in the second half on a long shot by Cassidy Ortbring to tie the game. Abbie Hess had 16 saves in net for MCHS.
Springport 2, Jonesville 0: The Spartans earned a road win the Big Eight Conference.
Chelsea 5, Jackson 3: The Vikings lost an SEC match at home on Monday.
Boys golf
LCAA golf jamboree at Hillsdale: Columbia Central finished sixth with a four-man total of 190. Andrew Zacharias finished with a 44 for CCHS.
Jackson Christian jamboree: The Royals finished third in the SCAA jamboree at Sharp Park with a 194. Christian Guerrero shot a 44 and Nate Locke and Jonathan Locke shot 48s for Jackson Christian.

Columbia Central 7, Bronson 1: The Golden Eagles swept the doubles competitions with wins by Abby Thivierge/Angelina Feldmann at No. 1 doubles; a 6-2, 6-2 win by Savanna Cushman/Nevada Adams at No. 2 doubles; a win by Olivia Monroe/Hannah Tacy at No. 3 doubles; and a victory by Alana Zimmerman/Madonna Chehade at No. 4 doubles.
Western 6, Pennfield 2: The Panthers swept the doubles competition with wins by Teagan Robertson/Alena Engle at No. 1 doubles; a 6-0 and 6-3 win by Emma Reed/Gabi Davis at No. 2 doubles; a win by Anna Wilcox/Becca Brushaber at No. 3 doubles; and a win by Leslie Kinder/Salena Vo at No. 4 doubles.
Harper Creek 5, Northwest 3: Hailey Rowley and Abrielle Taylor earned singles’ wins for NWHS at Nos. 1 and 4 respectively.
