Grass Lake 2, Dansville 1: Tyler Chizek and Cole Keneau scored goals for Grass Lake in the season opener. Zander Stormont had assists on both of the goals for Grass Lake.
Lumen Christi 4, Jackson Christian 2: The Titans came back from a 2-1 deficit in the first half at home on Thursday. Aaron Cartwright scored a goal and added an assist on a goal by Christian Guerrero for Jackson Christian. Jesus Tavera scored the first goal for the Titans to tie the game nine minutes into the contest. Lumen Christi scored the next three goals to pull out the win.
Western 8, Charlotte 0: The Panthers opened the season with an easy 8-0 home win against Charlotte. Jeff Palmer scored three goals and Roarke Watterson added a pair of goal for Western.
Girls golf
Jackson 206, Pinckney 216: Natalie Kulka shot a 40, Felicia Huffman finished with a 43, and Avery White scored a 55 for the Vikings (2-0 SEC) at Pinckney.
PBA60
PBA60 Dick Weber Classic at JAX 60: Ron Mohr defeated John Kirker 211-171 in the final at JAX 60. Mohr repeated as champion at the event, earning $7,500.
