Boys Soccer
Grass Lake 2, Northwest 1: Kolton Heidrich scored the game-winning goal for Grass Lake with over six minutes to play in the contest. Grass Lake held a 1-0 first-half lead thanks to a goal by Max Goebel. Northwest tied the game at 1-all with 10:27 remaining in the second half on a goal by Tyler Tyslenko. Josh Postuma had nine saves for the Warriors and Lucas Ratell would tough in net for the Mounties with 25 saves.
Columbia Central 6, Blissfield 2: The Golden Eagles improved to 2-1-1 with the victory.
Jackson Christian 3, Manchester 3: The Royals tied Manchester and is now 0-1-1 on the season.
Jackson 1, Eaton Rapids 0: The Vikings improved to 1-1 on the season with the road win.
Michigan Center 0, Lumen Christi 0: Hunter Clemmons made eight saves in net for the Cardinals in the scoreless battle.
Kalamazoo Central 3, Western 1: Western scored as Roarke Watterson took a corner kick and found Josh Graham on the back side, as he put the ball in the back of the net for his first career varsity goal.
Boys Tennis
DeWitt 7, Lumen Christi 1: Luke Tropea won the only match for the Titans at No. 2 singles.
Northwest 8, Hillsdale 0: Northwest Mountie tennis improved their duel record to 4-0 after defeating Hillsdale 8-0. The team was led by Drew Maples at No. 1 singles with a win of 6-1, 6-0. Also getting singles victories were Alex Thrun at No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-1), Gavin Rush at No. 3 singles (6-2, 6-4) and Mason Beecher winning by default at No. 4 singles. Lincoln Keathley and Nolan Sargeant won at No. 1 doubles (6-2, 6-3), Nathan Cumings and Brendan Fulmerhouser won at No. 2 doubles (6-0, 7-5) and Denver Bright/Cole Baker and Adhar Agnihotri/Aiden Cook received victories by default at Nos. 3 and 4 doubles respectively.
