Grass Lake 35, Shrine 6: Brayden Lape was 12-for-16 for 231 yards passing and three touchdowns for the Warriors on Friday. Andrew Stockton ran for 163 yards and Jeff Peterson caught four passes for 105 yards for GLHS. Defensively, Jack Reid made eight tackles for the Warriors. 

Volleyball

Concord at Blissfield Invitational: Concord High School went 0-3 at Blissfield on Saturday. Layla Hellard was 21-for-22 serving with four aces and 14 assists and Iyla Weeks finished with nine kills and 10 digs for the Yellow Jackets (1-8). 

East Jackson, Jackson at Olivet Inv: Jackson High School lost in the quarterfinals of the Olivet Invitational to Ypsilanti Lincoln, 25-18, 26-28, and 15-11. Kennedy Lee finished with 18 kills and four blocks, Kulayjah Weller added 15 kills and 58 digs, and Chloe Chaparro tallied 42 assists and 33 digs for Jackson (4-6). 

Grass Lake, Western at Chelsea Invitational: Grass Lake beat Chelsea and Ida, but lost to Western, 25-20 and 25-19. Abby Buttigieg was 24-for-24 from the service line with 21 points, and added six aces and 46 digs for Grass Lake. Olivia Turner recorded 23 kills and Mia Buttigieg finished with 44 assists for GLHS. 

Napoleon at Jonesville Invitational: Napoleon High School went 1-2 on the day with a win against Jonesville and losses to Addison and Adrian. Alyssa Budd finished with 37 kills and Maggie Beer added 24, Momo Hampton finished with 78 assists, Keegan Schoendorf recorded 65 digs and Gracie Tallman added 11 blocks for Napoleon (4-2). 

Boys cross country

East Jackson, Northwest at Webberville Invitational: East Jackson High School finished sixth and Northwest was 13th at the fourth annual Happy Acres Invitational at Webberville. Michael Allen placed 11th (17:36) and Javen Mericle finished 14th (17:47) for the Trojans. Hudson Cooper finished 22nd (18:12) for the Mounties. 

Lumen Christian at Catholic Invitational: Lumen Christi placed seventh as a team with 192 points. Gannon Shore finished 13th over in 17:47 for the Titans. 

Girls cross country

East Jackson, Northwest at Webberville Inv: Neither East Jackson nor Northwest posted a five-man score at the event. Individually, Priya Mericle finished 29th (23:02) for East Jackson and Lainey Reynolds of Northwest placed 46th (24:32).  

Lumen Christian at Michigan Catholic Invitational: Lumen Christi Catholic High School won the invitational at DeWitt with 53 points. Madison Osterberg was third overall (19:20), Macy Fazekas finished seventh (20:36), and Layla Lopez placed 11th (21:14) for the Titans.

Boys tennis

Jackson, Northwest at Coldwater: Jackson High School lost to Three Rivers, 8-0 and the Mounties also lost to Three Rivers, 5-3. Alex Thrun at No. 2 singles, Landon Schroeder/Karson Schroeder at No. 1 doubles, and Lincoln Keathley/Doug Putnam at No. 2 doubles won matches for the Mounties against Three Rivers.
