Clinton Girls’ Tournament: Drew Swihart of Hanover-Horton High School finished second at 115 pounds and Danni Swihart was second at 130 pounds. Sienna Tovar of Jackson finished second at 135 pounds and teammate Natalie Tobey was second at 155 pounds. 

Napoleon at Pinckney Invitational: Napoleon High School finished 4-1 as a team on the day, finishing fifth in the Seasons Beatings Invitational.  

Concord at Sand Creek: The Yellow Jackets lost 70-12 to Grosse Ile. Phillip Horrell (215) and Isaiah Krieger earned pins in the match. 

East Jackson at Fowlerville Invitational: Dylan Osborne finished second at 285 pounds for the Trojans. Isabel Worthing (145) and Colton Raffenburger (160) also earned fifth place in their respective weight classes for the Trojans. 

Jackson at B.C. Central: Jackson High School finished 2-3 on the day with wins over Quincy and Saranac. Caden Bayer, Gabe Hoover, Malik Monroe, Kyle Bonner, and Trevor Morehouse won four matches each for the Vikings. 

Lumen Christi at Chippewa Hills: Travis Frederick was second for the Titans at 125 pounds and Tobin Okoniewski was sixth at 130 pounds. 

Michigan Center at Gull Lake: The Cardinals were 0-3 in bracket play, but defeated West Catholic in the 13-16 place block bracket, 54-17 and Comstock.  Blake Short went 4-1 on the day for the Cardinals.

Northwest at Brighton: Northwest lost to Goodrich, 53-16, but defeated Traverse City Center 60-16. Adam Haselius earned two wins at 189 pounds in those matches.

Addison, Columbia, Western at Onsted Invitational: Onsted High School won its own invitational with a three-round total of 718 in Division 2/3. Michigan Center finished second (671) and Columbia Central was seventh (528). 

Hockey

Lenawee United 3, Jackson United 1: Jackson United outshot Lenawee 33-27, but could not cash in. Lenawee United took a 1-0 lead in the first period, but Jackson tied the game at 1-all with a goal by Aiden Chappell on a power play to begin the third period. Lenawee United scored with just under three minutes remaining in the game and again on an empty-net goal with seconds remaining in the contest. Nick Nau stopped 24 shots in the game for Jackson United (5-4).  

Lumen Christi 4, Sault Saint 1: Brett Terry scored twice as the Titans won the Big Rapids Holiday Tournament on Saturday night. Gabe King and Kavin Kennedy also scored goals for LCCHS. Matt Hoop earned the win in goal and was named as an all-tournament selection. Terry was also named as an all-tournament selection and Kennedy was the MVP of the tournament.
