Northwest 74, Fowlerville 54: Duncan Moffitt finished with 28 points, four steals, and four assists to lead the Mounties to the home win. Drew Maples added 21 points, Hudson Cooper had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Josh Jordan finished with six assists and five steals for Northwest.

Girls Basketball
Columbia Central 48, Leslie 44: Columbia Central High School opened play in the Cascades Conference with a victory. Hailey Freshcorn finished with 15 points, Cecelia Slatt scored nine points, and Emma Shafer added six points and six rebounds for CCHS.
Concord 67, Britton-Deerfield 27: Five players scored in double digits for Concord led by freshman Bradie Lehman with 17 points. Grace Thorrez and Cece Barrett scored 11 points apiece and Maria Stevens and Hannah Stimer each finished with 10 points for Concord.

Homer 58, East Jackson 53: Mariah Kerley scored 29 points and Kennedy Goodwin added 14 points for East Jackson.
Grass Lake 45, Hanover-Horton 32: Kate Starkey scored 12 points and Lauren Lutchka added 11 points for the Warriors. Molly Soper tallied 10 points and Morgan Kuhl finished with nine points for the Comets.
Lansing Christian 57, Jackson Christian 18
Michigan Center 55, Jonesville 35: Michigan Center improved to 3-0 on the season with the victory. McKynley Gaddy scored 14 points and dished five assists and Sam Wynn added 10 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Cardinals. Hailey Mees finishes with nine points and four steals for MCHS.
Napoleon 78, Vandercook Lake 9: All 12 girls scored for Napoleon in the contest at Vandercook Lake. The Jayhawks competed in the first varsity contest in a handful of seasons. Maggie Beer finished with 12 points to lead the Pirates.

Awards

Aiden Pastoriza helped Lumen Christi rush for more than 3,000 yards and earn its second consecutive state football title in Division 7. Pastoriza was named to the Michigan High School Coaches Association all-state team as an offensive lineman. The Titans averaged 33 points points-per-game and finished the season with a 13-1 record.
