Columbia Central 43, Grass Lake 40: The Golden Eagles improved to 3-0 on the young season with a road win in the Cascades Conference. Conner Cole scored 20 points to lead CCHS. Brayden Lape finished with 27 points to lead the Warriors.
Concord 61, Quincy 35: The Yellow Jackets are now 2-0 in the Big Eight Conference with the home win. Mekhi Wingfield led the Jackets with 18 points, Gavin Riske added 12, and Jett Smith chipped in 11 points in the win.
Lansing Everett 53, Jackson 48: Sherquan Wilson scored 12 points to lead Jackson (4-1).
Michigan Center 58, Addison 22: The Cardinals held the Panthers to single digits in three of the four quarters including one point in the final eight minutes of action. Spencer Berkeypile scored 12 points and Travis Collins added 10 points for Michigan Center.
Napoleon 40, Homer 32: DeVonta Habern scored 16 points and created eight steals in the win for Napoleon. Gavrik Belcourt added 10 points and Holden Van Poppel grabbed nine rebounds for Napoleon.

Lumen Christi 40, Marshall 25: The Titans earned a home win as Ruby Boyce scored 14 points and seven rebounds and Allison O’Dowd scored 12 points and dished three assists.
Michigan Center 52, Quincy 30: The road warriors from Michigan Center earned its fourth consecutive road victory as Sam Wynn scored 11 points and Cecelia Scaife added 10 points.

Northwest 52, Haslett 47: Brooke Grant hit a big 3-point basket with less than two minutes remaining in the contest to break a 47-all tie for the Mounties. Mara Mitchell scored 17 points, Ashley Weller tallied 15, Grant finished with nine points, and Lucy Bivens scored eight points for Northwest.
Tecumseh 59, Western 37: The Panthers were held to 11 points in the second half against Tecumseh.
Wrestling

Jackson 43, Battle Creek Central 27: Students at Jackson High School saw Santa wrestle the Grinch, the JHS Drumline, and cheerleaders perform during the assembly match at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Eden Nguyen (113), Sean Benin (132), Caden Bayer (144), and Kenyon Dunklin (150) earned pins for the Vikings in the win.
Competitive Cheer

Cascades Jamboree at Columbia Central: Michigan Center won the first Cascades Conference with three of the four new schools with a 691. Hanover-Horton was second (685), Columbia Central was sixth (554), Grass Lake placed seventh (526), Vandercook Lake was eighth (491), Napoleon finished ninth (416), and East Jackson was 10th (233).
Boys Bowling
Columbia Central 17, Vandercook Lake 13: Ethan Senkewitz rolled games of 197 and 156 and Brendon Bernstein finished with a 180 game for CCHS. Kyle Trajnowski rolled a 216 and Zavier Petty bowled a 215 to lead the Jayhawks.
Homer 23, East Jackson 7: Kaden Mortzfield finished with a 163 game and Doug Lysher a 151 game for East Jackson.
Napoleon 20, Manchester 10: Peyton Thorne rolled a 458 series and Ethan Rose finished with a 436 series to lead Napoleon.

Columbia Central 28, Vandercook Lake 2: Kayleigh Molnar finished with a 189 and Alexis Henry rolled a 156 to lead CCHS (3-0).
Homer 16, East Jackson 15: Tessa Wyngaert rolled a 169 game and Jordan Wineland added a 168 for East Jackson.
