Girls basketball
Springport 59, Michigan Center 58: Michigan Center sophomore Haley Mees scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the home loss. Elianna Noll added 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds and Julia Reynolds added 12 points for the Cardinals. Hope Overweg scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Maddux Overweg scored 13 points and 11 assists to lead the Spartans. Brenna Crittenden scored 11 points and Ciarra Brock added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Spartans.
Napoleon 51, Manchester 50: The Pirates are 4-1 overall following the Cascades Conference win on the road Wednesday. Camryn Smilowski scored 19 points and Karson Fairbanks added 13 points for Napoleon.
Jackson Christian 36, Bellevue 11: Kayley McCollum led the Royals with 15 points and Maggie Hollowood added 11 points.

Columbia Central at Addison Quad: Columbia Central lost to Madison High School 63-18 as Nathan Ostrosky (106) and Hunter Czubachowski (144) earned pins for the Golden Eagles. CCHS lost 42-30 to Erie Mason in the second match. Jordan Cromwell (126), Peyton Huston (138), and Czubachowski (144) earned pins in that match for CCHS.
Quincy Quad: David Fielder (126) and Gaven Teller (285) earned pins for the Comets against Concord in a 42-9 win. Danni Swihart, Josh Fraley, A.J. Fielder, and David Fielder earned pins in the Comets’ 45-30 loss to Quincy in the second match.
Napoleon Quad: Napoleon High School lost to Dundee, 62-12, and Springport 58-24. Dallas Smith earned a pin at 215 pounds for Napoleon against Dundee. Smith (215), Aiden Bocanegra (113), and Brady Warner (175) earned pins against Springport. The Spartans were led by Owen Thomas (120), Trenton Hamilton (126), David Becker (132), Chase Caudill (144), Rylinn Hale (165), and Eli Worth (285) with pins over the Pirates.
Northwest 65, Western 12: Kayden Beach (120), Jeff Miller (126), Gage Race (138), Braden Gariety (157), Zach Jacobs (165), James Nurkka (175), and Adam Haselius (215) earned pins for the Mounties. Western was paced by Owen St. Andre (144) and Ronald London (285) with pins.
East Jackson at Whitmore Lake: East Jackson defeated Byron 60-21 in one match at Whitmore Lake. Kayla Winget (132) earned the only pin for the Trojans in the match. Whitmore Lake won the second match 47-30 against the Trojans. Clayton Clark (157) and Maverick Cooper (175) earned pins for EJHS in that match.
Coldwater 66, Lumen Christi 12: Tobin Okoniewski earned a pin for the Titans at 132 pounds.
Competitive cheer
Northwest, Western at Leslie Invitational: Western High School finished second in the upper division with a score of 546. Northwest was third in the same division with a three-round total of 528.
LCAA cheer at Onsted: Hudson High School finished first (735), Onsted was second (674), and Columbia Central placed sixth (560) in the first Lenawee County Athletic Association jamboree at OHS.
Bowling
Michigan Center 20, Hanover-Horton 10: Landon Murrell finished with a personal-best 198 and Jack Kittel rolled a 397 series for the Comets.
Napoleon 29, Vandercook Lake 1: Logan Schneider rolled a 518 series and Dustin Moeckel finished with a 492 series to lead the Pirates. Matt Poole rolled a 194 game and Dayton Rodriguez finished with a 350 series to lead the Jayhawks.
Grass Lake 30, Homer 0: Brice Sandoval had the hot hand rolling games of 236 and 223 for a 459 set. Max Shafran bowled games of 202 and 226 for a 428 series and Cayden DeWitt shooting games of 225 and 183 for a 408 set.

Hanover-Horton 21, Michigan Center 9: Kaytie Warren finished with a 199 game and a 374 series, Lana Gilliland rolled a 176 game and Mackenzie LaFountain finished with a 170 game for Hanover-Horton.
Napoleon 22, Vandercook Lake 8: Natasha Eastridge rolled a 213 game and Sam Burgess finished with a 363 series for Napoleon. Brianna Langley finished with a 215 game for the Jayhawks.
Hockey
Jackson 5, Dexter 1: Five different players scored goals for Jackson United in the road win. Liam Carter scored in the first period, Cougar Fagan and Aiden Chappell scored for JU in the second stanza, and Brennan Forward and Easton Neitzke scored in the third period. Easton Craig earned the win for JU in the net.
Flint Powers 2, Lumen Christi 1: The Titans fell at home in non-conference hockey action.
