Columbia Central 86, Addison 63: Derek Sanders finished with 24 points, Conner Cole scored 21 points, and Nolan Schiel added 12 points for CCHS. The Golden Eagles scored 31 points in the first quarter breaking out to a big lead. Gunnar Demeuse scored 21 points to lead Addison.
Concord 55, Maple Valley 39: Jett Smith scored 19 points to lead Concord to the Big Eight Conference win.
Grass Lake 57, East Jackson 40: The Warriors improved to 2-1 on the season while the Trojans are now 1-3.
Hanover-Horton 55, Homer 32: Logan Blackledge scored 18 points and Lucas Soper added 15 points for the Comets. Hanover-Horton held Homer to single digits in three of the four quarters in the Cascades Conference contest.
Litchfield 46, Jackson Christian 34: The Royals fell to 1-2 on the season with the loss.
Jackson 62, Pontiac 51: Koronnis Davis scored 21 points and Sherquan Wilson added 11 points for Jackson. The Vikings are now 4-0 on the season.
Lumen Christi 82, Lutheran North 53: Luke Tropea scored 30 points and Lundon Hampton finished with 13 points for the Titans. Ten players scored in the contest for LCCHS (1-0).
Michigan Center 86, Morenci 45: The Cardinals exploded for 29 points in the first quarter and never looked back. Hunter Clemons scored 19 points and Travis Collins scored 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Ten players scored for Michigan Center in the contest.
Western 53, Northwest 43: Western is now 3-1 on the season while the Mounties are 1-3.
Springport 42, Reading 40: The Spartans are on a four-game winning streak following the win.
Jonesville 45, Vandercook Lake 32: The Jayhawks fell to 1-3 with the home loss in the Cascades Conference.
Leslie 34, Manchester 31: The Blackhawks scored 16 points in the third quarter to break open a close contest. Conner Marciniak scored nine points to lead Leslie (2-2 overall, 1-1 Cascades).
Girls Basketball
Blissfield 57, Columbia Central 42: Hailey Freshcorn finished with 12 points to lead the Golden Eagles.
Lumen Christi 32, Lutheran North 19: Codi Ruge scored 11 points and Allison O’Dowd added 10 points for Lumen Christi. The Titans recorded 17 steals in the defensive game.
Northwest 43, Western 40: The Mounties improved to 2-0 on the young season with the home win.
Wrestling
East Jackson Girls Invitational: Sienna Tovar pinned two opponents on her way to the final at 145 pounds. Tovar finished second in her weight class. Bella Huston of Columbia Central was third at 190, Aiyana Walker of Jackson placed third at 170, and Kayla Winget of East Jackson finished fourth at 125. The invitational featured more than 40 schools and nearly 200 wrestlers at East Jackson High School.
Competitive Cheer
Michigan Center Invitational: Western High School finished third (576) and Northwest fourth (571) in the Division 2 competition. Columbia Central placed third in Division 3 scoring 483. Michigan Center placed second (676), Hanover-Horton was third (657), and Springport finished sixth (509) in Division 4.
Boys Bowling
East Jackson 25, Vandercook Lake 5: Kaden Mortzfield rolled a 325 series to lead East Jackson. Vandercook Lake was led by Xavier Petty with a 344 series at Suburban Lanes.

Grass Lake 22, Napoleon 8: Cayden DeWitt rolled eight consecutive strikes in rolling a 268 game for Grass Lake at Suburban Lanes. Brice Sandoval finished with a 247 game and Frank Bednarski rolled a 230 game for the Warriors.

Girls Bowling
East Jackson 16, Vandercook Lake 15: The two teams ended in a tie, but the Trojans won on total pin count. Tessa Wyngaert finished with a 286 series for EJHS. Abby Hunt rolled a 306 series for Vandercook Lake including a 188 game.
Hockey
Lumen Christi 1, Cap City 1 (OT): The two teams tied at 1-all as the Titans traveled Friday.
Awards

Napoleon High School senior Kayden Fowler is described as the “Swiss army knife” by his coach. Other coaches took notice as Fowler was named as an all-state linebacker in Division 7 by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association. Fowler finished with 113 tackles, with 70 solo and 43 assists, seven tackles for losses, one sack, and one fumble recovery. The versatile one also stepped up to play quarterback in the last two games for the Pirates.
