Girls basketball

Columbia Central 62, Dundee 35: Zoie Bamm scored 25 points and snagged 16 rebounds and Anna McCollum tallied 20 points for CCHS. Tadassa Brown scored seven points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Columbia Central (14-4). 

Grass Lake 53, Jonesville 30: Grass Lake ends the regular season with a 14-5 overall record. 

Napoleon 44, Homer 41: Momo Hampton led Napoleon with 22 points, Camryn Smilowski added eight points, and Emily Smilowski scored six points. Napoleon is 7-12 on the season.  

Concord 45, Quincy 40: Concord is 6-11 on the season following the Big Eight Conference win. 

 

East Jackson 56, Springport 42: Mariah Kerley scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Savana Stewart added 12 points and six steals for East Jackson (16-4). Springport was led by Ryann Locke with 15 points and Maddux Overweg scored 12 points for Springport (15-5). 

Hanover-Horton 57, Union City 27: McKenna Easter scored 16 points and Morgan Kuhl finished with 10 points and nine rebounds for Hanover-Horton. Natalee Krage also scored 10 point for the Comets (5-15). 

Pittsford 40, Jackson Christian 21: The Royals are 4-15 following the road loss. 

Michigan Center 50, Reading 47: Julia Reynolds hit a 3-point basket with less than 10 seconds remaining in the game for Michigan Center. Reynolds finished with 16 points and eight rebounds, Samantha Wynn scored 15 points and tallied five steals, Kamryn Shannon added 10 points, and Riley Brown led the defensive effort for MCHS (10-8). The Cardinals are on a modest 3-game winning streak heading into the playoffs.

Division 2 at Vicksburg: Battle Creek Pennfield, Charlotte, Coldwater, DeWitt, Eaton Rapids, Fowlerville, Haslett, Marshall, Mason, Northwest, Sturgis, Three Rivers, Vicksburg, and Western. 

Division 3 at Niles: Coloma, Columbia Central, Comstock, Constantine, Hillsdale, Hopkins, Jonesville, Lansing Catholic, Michigan Center, Napoleon, Niles Brandywine, Olivet, Parchment, Quincy, South Haven, and Stockbridge. 

Division 4 at JAX 60 hosted by Hanover-Horton: Addison, Bronson, Burr Oak, East Jackson, Grass Lake, Hanover-Horton, Homer, Hudson, Kalamazoo Christian, Kalamazoo Hackett, Lumen Christi, Morenci, Pittsford, Sand Creek, Schoolcraft, and Vandercook Lake. 

Regional tournaments are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. The regional at JAX 60 has been moved back to 10 a.m. Please check your local school for any changes in the regional times.
