Jonesville 40, Concord 29: The Yellow Jackets pulled within two points at 26-24 in the fourth quarter but were outscored 14-5 in the final minutes. Anthony Evans scored 11 points for Concord.
East Jackson 40, Manchester 38: The Trojans found themselves down 11-0 to start the game and 18-8 at the end of the first quarter. East Jackson came back to earn its ninth win of the season.
Northwest 72, Hastings 62: The Mounties earned a road win in the Interstate-8 Conference on Friday. Drew Maples scored 19 points, Josh Jordan added 17 points and five assists, Colton Gowdy finished with 16 points and four assists, and Jalen Jordan scored 11 points for Northwest.
Marshall 57, Western 55: The Panthers lost by a basketball at the old Albion High School gymnasium.

Girls basketball
Northwest 66, Hastings 33: Layne Sleight scored 25 points including six 3-point baskets in the Interstate-8 Conference road win. Ashley Weller scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, and Mara Mitchell finished with 11 points and four steals. Luce Bivens added five points for Northwest (18-2).
Columbia Central 50, Hudson 44: Jaylen Lambka had a career-high 22 points in the win for CCHS. Anna McCollum scored 11 points and dished five assists and Zoie Bamm scored 10 points and pulled down 17 rebounds. Bamm now holds the school record for single-season rebounds with 317.

Competitive Cheer District
Division 4 at Michigan Center: Michigan Center and Concord high schools advanced out of the Division 4 district on Friday night. The Cardinals won the district scoring 745 and Concord finished in the fourth and final qualifying spot with 670. Jonesville (687) and Quincy (685) garnered the other two qualifying spots advancing to the regional final on Feb. 25 at Michigan Center High School. Columbia Central (655.9) was fifth, Hanover-Horton placed sixth (655.5), Lumen Christi was seventh (654), Napoleon placed 10th (628), Vandercook Lake was 13th (595), and Grass Lake finished 14th (529).
Hockey
Lumen Christi 6, Kalamazoo Eagles 1: The Titans won is second consecutive South Central League title with the road win on Friday night. Lumen Christi is 17-8 overall for the season.
Bowling
Grass Lake 30, Hanover-Horton 0: Brice Sandoval rolled a season-high 495 series to lead the Warriors. Max Schafran rolled a 426 series, Tanner Fournier rolled a 222 game, and Brayden DeWitt added a 206 game for Grass Lake.
