Northwest 57, Lumen Christi 37: Ian Weller came up big for the Mounties with 24 points in the Interstate-8 Conference matchup at LCCHS. Duncan Moffitt added 18 points for the Mounties. Northwest led 17-2 after the first eight minutes of action in the game. Collin O’Neal finished with 10 points for the Titans.

Vandercook Lake 61, Napoleon 54: The Jayhawks erased a deficit in the fourth quarter improving to 7-0 on the season. Both teams were undefeated coming into the contest at VCL. Jermaine Buckner scored 22 points and Demarion Smith added 16 points for the Jayhawks. Napoleon was led by Zack Johnson with 13 points and Trent Jester and Javen Tumey-Patterson with 11 points apiece.

Jackson 64, Pinckney 60: Jackson High School earned a road win the Southeastern Conference over Pinckney. Savonn Campbell and Ben Malone scored 14 points apiece and Tavion Tanner added 12 points for Jackson. The Vikings are 2-5 overall for the season.
Jackson Christian 47, North Adams-Jerome 24: The Royals have won two of its last three games in boys basketball.
Michigan Center 79, Manchester 36: The Cardinals earned a road win the in Cascades Conference at Manchester. Six players scored at least nine points in the win, led by Brody Shannon with 13 points and Nikolas Kosmet with 10 points.
Coldwater 75, Western 45: Coldwater jumped out to a 20-3 lead making the Panthers battle back all night. Carter Martin and Owen Fremeau scored seven points apiece to lead Western.
Hanover-Horton 43, Grass Lake 41: Carson Sanders made a pair of free throws with nine seconds left in the game giving the Comets the lead. Brayden Lape scored 13 points and Zeke Dubiel added six points for Grass Lake.
Columbia Central 53, Ida 40: The Golden Eagles have won three of its last four games, improving to 3-4 on the season.
Girls basketball
Columbia Central 52, Ida 19: The Golden Eagles led 39-7 at halftime in the Lenawee County Athletic Association win. Tadassa Brown scored 23 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and blocked four shots for the Golden Eagles. Zoie Bamm finished with 14 points for CCHS.

Northwest 71, Lumen Christi 37: All 10 players scored for the Mounties in the home win. Ashley Weller scored 17 points and dished five assists, Mara Mitchell had 12 points, and Teja Kapp added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Mounties. Northwest outscored the Titans 23-7 in the third quarter to pull away.

Western 60, Coldwater 29: The Panthers led 48-13 after three quarters in the home win. Hillary Griffin scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds and Alyna Lewis scored 14 points and dished seven assists. Western is now 8-0 on the season.
Jackson 47, Pinckney 34: The Vikings earned its first win of the season with a home victory over Pinckney.
Competitive cheer

Cascades Conference at East Jackson: Michigan Center High School won another Cascades Conference jamboree with a score of 719 at East Jackson High School on Tuesday. The battle was for second place as Addison (678) edged Hanover-Horton (676). Napoleon took fourth place (584), Vandercook scored 559, and Grass Lake scored 532.

East Jackson 22, Hanover-Horton 8: Carson Pelton rolled a career-high 234 and Steven Tripp added a 232 for the Trojans. Ben Childs led Hanover-Horton with a 366 series against East Jackson.
Pennfield 26, Western 4: Jacob Martinez scored a 224 game for the Panthers.

Hanover-Horton 24, East Jackson 6: Desiree Poole rolled a 171 game to pace the Trojans. Hanover-Horton was led by Halle Curtis with a 162 game and a personal-high game of 211 for a 373.
