Addison 8, East Jackson 1: Brody Gramm had two hits and two RBIs for the Panthers.
Addison 10, East Jackson 2: The Panthers scored six times in the top of the seventh inning to blow open a close contest.
Grass Lake 9, Hanover-Horton 2: Ryan Sharkey earned the pitching win for the Warriors.
Chelsea 15, Jackson 0: Sam Arvy struck out three batters on the mound for Jackson.
Chelsea 16, Jackson 3: Viking Michael Kirby finished with three hits.
Michigan Center 15, Vandercook 4: Daylen Hinkle had three hits for Michigan Center. Brady Frohm knocked in three of the four runs in the game for the Jayhawks.
Michigan Center 12, Vandercook Lake 2: The Cardinals scored six times in the third inning. Brock Cyrocki had two hits and two RBIs and Brendan Roe struck out seven batters for Michigan Center. Camren Lackey struck out three batters for Vandercook.
Manchester 3, Napoleon 1: Dwayne Lewis had a pair of hits for Napoleon.
Manchester 11, Napoleon 5: Napoleon player Josh Adams finished with three hits in the contest.
Lenawee Christian 8, Columbia Central 3: Ethan Emerson collected two hits for Columbia Central. The Golden Eagles scored three runs in the first inning but were shut out the remainder of the game.
Columbia Central 9, Lenawee Christian 9: The game was halted after five innings. Lenawee Christian scored eight times in the bottom of the fifth inning to force a tie. Ryan Hammond struck out seven batters on the mound and Cameron Adams finished with three hits for CCHS (9-17-1).
Softball
Grass Lake 11, Hanover-Horton 0: The Warriors wrapped up the Cascades Conference championship with the win. Olivia Turner, Katelyn Postuma, and
Rylee Fitzpatrick hits home runs in the game. Fitzpatrick’s home run was a walk-off two-run shot. Turner, a freshman, now has 12 home runs and is batting nearly .600 for Grass Lake (28-1).
Grass Lake 4, Hanover-Horton 1, 8 innings: Rylee Fitzpatrick had three hits and Olivia Turner knocked in three runs and hit a home run for Grass Lake. Laney Brown of Grass Lake and Alexis Flint of Hanover-Horton pitched all eight innings.
East Jackson at Addison: Addison won both contests, 8-6 in game one and 5-4 in game two.
Chelsea 16, Jackson 0: Kalayjah Weller had one hit for the Vikings in the game.
Chelsea 16, Jackson 0: Jackson player Ivy Potts had one hit in the loss.
Napoleon 9, Manchester 5: Karson Fairbanks had a huge game with three hits and five RBIs.
Napoleon 3, Manchester 1: Raye Burke won a pitcher’s dual striking out six batters and scattering five hits. Karson Fairbanks had two more hits for Napoleon (18-7).
Boys’ track and field
Lumen Christi at Western: Western High School easily won the meet against the Titans, 124-38. Michael McAninich won the shot put (46-8.5) and the discus (125-3) for the Panthers. Western earned first-place finishes in 15-of-17 events. Joey Schonhard won the high jump (6-0) for the Titans.
Vandercook, Hanover-Horton at Napoleon: Napoleon High School defeated Hanover-Horton and Vandercook Lake. The Comets defeated the Jayhawks in the tri-meet. Napoleon freshman Holden Van Poppel won four individual events taking first in the 200-meter dash (24.5), 110-meter hurdles (16.1), the 300-meter hurdles (44.7), and the shot put (34-11.5). Rogan Melling of Hanover-Horton won the 1,600-meter run (4:47) and the 3,200-meter run (10:25) and Dean Reynolds took first in the 400-meter dash (52.7) and the 800-meter run (2:08). Kyle Stiles of VCL won the discus with a throw of 111-9.
Concord tri-meet: Javion Taylor won the 100-meter dash (11.57) and the 200-meter dash (23.56) for Concord. The Yellow Jackets defeated Reading and Jonesville in the tri-meet.
Girls’ track and field
Lumen Christi at Western: Western High School won 120-37 at home on Monday. Lily Kucharek again set the school record in the discus with a toss of 129-3 and won the shot put with a throw of 39-7. Anna Burk also won both hurdle events for Western, taking the 100-meter hurdles in 17.7 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles in 48.47 seconds. Renae Kutcha again swept the sprint events taking the 100-meter dash (13.32), the 200-meter dash (26.75), and the 400-meter dash (58.32).
Vandercook, Hanover-Horton at Napoleon: The Lady Pirates also defeated Hanover-Horton and Vandercook Lake in the tri-meet. The Comets defeated Vandercook Lake. Emily Smilowski of Napoleon won the 200-meter dash (28.4) and the 400-meter dash (1:03) and Chelsea Bamm won the shot put (32-6.5) and the discus (90-2). The Comets won three-of-five field events as Carly Cure won the high jump (4-10), Clara Rector won the pole vault (8-0), and Kaytie Warren won the long jump (14-2). Kylie Baldwin of VCL won the 100-meter dash (13.4).
Concord tri-meet: Skylar Thompson won the 1,600-meter run (5:50), Haylee Rinehart took first in the pole vault (6-0), and Jamiya Rogers won the long jump (13-6) for Concord.

Ann Arbor Huron tri-meet: Jackson finished third (177) to Ann Arbor Huron (173) and Ann Arbor Pioneer (175). Colin Norton and Justin Bunch both scored 38s.
SMAA at Hillsdale Academy: Jackson Christian finished fifth with a score of 220. Hillsdale Academy won the event with 177. Blaine Spry scored a 48 to lead Jackson Christian.
Girls’ Tennis
Columbia Central 7, Northwest 1: The Golden Eagles improved to 7-1 with the win. Savannah Anderson won the No. 1 singles match for the Mounties. Sydnee Miller, Lily Ellison, and Tamara Little won singles matches for CCHS.
Portland 6, Lumen Christi 2: Olivia Eaker won a match at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-0. Lauren Craft/Kaitlyn Sallee won 6-4, 7-6(5) at No. 3 doubles.
