Ida 5, Columbia Central 0: Lane Myers struck out seven batters for the Golden Eagles. 

Ida 5, Columbia Central 1: Cameron Adams had a pair of hits for Columbia Central. 

Homer 9, Concord 1: Isaac O’Dell and Ross Weeks each had two hits for the Yellow Jackets. 

Homer 5, Concord 0: Riley Nieswender struck out four batters for Concord. 

Pennfield 8, Northwest 2: JR Morrow had a pair of hits for Northwest.

Harper Creek 10, Western 1: Cohen Spitzer struck out two batters in five innings pitched for Western. 

Western 4, Harper Creek 1: Caden Oliver knocked in two runs for the Panthers.

Homer 20, Concord 2

Homer 9, Concord 3: Haylie Kowalski struck out three batters for Concord. 

Coldwater 21, Lumen Christi 0

Coldwater 15, Lumen Christi 0: Caroline Hilderley had two hits for the Titans. 

Northwest 10, Pennfield 0: Nevaeh Ingram struck out 12 batters on the mound for the Mounties. Cora Pilaczynski had two hits and knocked in four runs for Northwest.  

Northwest 14, Pennfield 3: Katelyn Kennedy, Reegan Trojanowicz, and Madison Neitzke had two hits apiece for Northwest (23-2).  

Western 11, Harper Creek 0: Ashley Williams struck out 10 batters in pitching a no-hitter against Harper Creek. Kasey Carroll collected three hits and four RBIs in the win for Western. 

Western 10, Harper Creek 0: Hailey Whisman earned the shutout win striking out 12 batters and scattering two hits. Merritt Baker finished with three hits and three RBIs for Western (20-9). 

Vandercook Lake 15, Michigan Center 9: Abby Riddle hit a home run for the Jayhawks and Kate Leach knocked in four runs. Madison Whipple had two hits, including a home run, and knocked in three runs for the Cardinals. 
 
Vandercook Lake 8, Michigan Center 7: The Jayhawks scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out the win. Morgan LeFaive had three hits for VLHS and struck out 10 batters on the mound. Madison Whipple hit two more home runs and knocked in three runs for the Cardinals. .

Michigan Center 104, East Jackson 24: Ethan Prokos won the 100-meter hurdles (17.24), 300-meter hurdles (43.14), and the high jump (5-9) for Michigan Center. Caymen Cline won the shot put (43-3) and the discus (112-3) for MCHS. Randy Reddick won the long jump (18-10) for East Jackson. 

Jackson Prep at Sand Creek: Jackson Prep & Early College finished fifth at Sand Creek. JPEC won the 3,200-meter relay (9:36) with Andrew Mason, Jonah Payne, John Yarbrough, and Daniel Casey. 

Marshall Quad meet: The Mounties finished fourth with 46 points at the Interstate-8 Conference quad meet. Dylan Gloar won the long jump with a leap of 17-10. 

Girls’ track and field

Michigan Center 106, East Jackson 8: Elly Trefry won the pole vault (9-6) and the 100-meter dash (14.11). Addisyn Rudd won the 200-meter dash (29.18) for the Trojans. 

Jackson Prep at Sand Creek: JPEC finished fifth as a team at Sand Creek. Kariana Carpenter finished third in the 1,600-meter run (6:02). 

Marshall Quad meet: Northwest High School finished fourth with 43 points. Julia Warneck won the 100-meter dash (13.66), the 200-meter dash (30.08), and the long jump (16-2).

Boys’ golf

 

Hanover-Horton Invitational: Hanover-Horton High School won their own invitational at Arbor Hills Golf Club with a four-man total of 324 to edge Jackson by 12 shots (336). Lumen Christi was fourth (346), Napoleon finished sixth (359), East Jackson ninth (403), and Grass Lake placed 10th (406) tying with Hanover-Horton 2. Justin Bunch of Jackson earned medalist honors with a 2-under-par 70 and teammate Collin Norton shot 73. Cannon Risner of Leslie and Brogan Brockie of Hanover-Horton tied for third with 77s.
