Concord 79, Springport 44: Concord High School senior Mekhi Wingfield scored 34 points to reach the 1,000-point mark for his basketball career. Concord improved to 5-0 in the Big Eight Conference as Jett Smith scored 20 points and Jordan Medellin added 14 for Concord. Springport is now 7-4 overall, 2-3 in the Big 8.
Jackson Christian 44, Colon 40: J.D. Locke finished with 12 points and Caleb Lanham added 11 points for the Royals.

Michigan Center 38, Columbia Central 36: Nathan Ostroski finished the night 2-0 for CCHS. His teammates Logan Winter, Christian Millican, Hunter Czubachowski, Dylan Boone, Marshall MacBlain, and Auden Kennedy finished the night with one win in contested matches. Blake Short (175) and Chase Short (215) won key matches for Michigan Center to close out the win against CCHS.

Leslie 48, Michigan Center 38: Davion King and Andrew Beadonkopf both went 2-0 for the night for Michigan Center.
Leslie 54, Grass Lake 24: Jack Reid recorded his 100th career win in the match for Grass Lake.
Napoleon 64, East Jackson 6: Izayah Scott (106) and Zack Bamm (190) earned pins for the Pirates against Manchester. Bamm finished with two pins for the night.

Northwest 69, Marshall 12: Kayden Beach (120), Carter Cole (126), Evan Beuerle (132), Jeff Miller (144), Ashton Dack (150), and Kaiden Goodman (190) all earned a pair of pins for the Mounties. Northwest earned a pair of Interstate-8 Conference wins Wednesday night.

Portage 2, Lumen Christi 1: Brodie Gregory scored in the first period giving the Titans a 1-0 lead. But Portage chipped away scoring two goals in the final two periods to earn the home win. The Titans are now 8-3-1 on the season.

Women’s Basketball
Spring Arbor 79, Bethel 65: After a wild first period that produced 53 points, Spring Arbor settled down defensively and held Bethel to 19 points in the next two quarters for the home win. Alana Nelson scored 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for SAU. Alize Tripp scored 14 points, Alex Long added 13 points, and Sydney Aunins finished with 12 points for SAU (15-3, 6-2 CL).
Jackson College 92, Wayne County CC 38: The Jets scored 33 points in the third quarter and held WCCC to single digits in half of the quarters. Kaylona Butler led all scorers with 22 points, Michelle McGee scored 16 points and six steals, and Zoie Bamm added 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Riley Kubiak added seven assists and Kiyla Brooks added seven steals for Jackson College (14-2). The Jets will host St. Clair CCC Saturday at 1 p.m.

Bethel 74, Spring Arbor 66: Gabe Newhof scored 25 points and pulled down eight rebounds and Travis Grayson added 13 points and dished six assists for SAU. Newhof went over the 1,000-point mark for his career in the contest. Spring Arbor is now 10-8 overall, 3-5 in the Crossroads League.
Jackson College 82, Wayne County CC 65: Antonio King scored 27 points and Brayden Pearson added 13 points for Jackson College. Savonn Campbell finished with eight points, nine rebounds, and seven assists for the Jets. Jackson College will host St. Clair CCC Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff. Jackson College is now 9-7 on the season.
