MHSAA golf finals
MHSAA Division 1 golf final: Colin Norton of Jackson High School shot another 83 at the Division 1 state finals at Katke Golf Course. He finished with a two-day total of 166, finishing 54th individually.
MHSAA Division 3 golf final: Lumen Christi finished seventh with another 333 on Saturday at The Fortress Golf Course in Frankenmuth. Hanover-Horton was 14th finishing Saturday with a team total of 348 for a two-day total of 694. Brady Applegate of Hanover-Horton tied for 10th place with an 81 on Saturday for a two-day total of 154. Nash Hanchett of Lumen Christi shot 159, teammate Charlie Saunders finished at 162, and Josh Baker shot 171. Ryder Pickering finished with 168 for the Comets.
MHSAA Division 4 golf final: East Jackson golfer Ben Maino shot an 83 on Saturday at Forest Akers West. The EJHS senior finished 29th individually with a two-day total of 169.
