Softball Division 2 Quarterfinal at Kalamazoo College
Vicksburg 6, Western 2 (incomplete): The game was halted in the fourth inning due to rain with Vicksburg leading the Panthers. The game will resume Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kalamazoo College – across the street from Western Michigan University. Vicksburg jumped out to a 4-0 lead with the big hit being a three-run inside-the-park home run in the second inning. Western scored a pair of runs in the third inning on a single by Ashlyn Yeo, a double off the wall by Shaunicy Hendricks, and a throwing error by Vicksburg. The winner of the quarterfinal game will play at Michigan State University Thursday at 10 a.m. in the D-2 state semifinal.
