Dundee 9, Columbia Central 1: Ryan Whipple had two of the Golden Eagles’ four hits in the contest. 

Dundee 6, Columbia Central 2: Dundee scored four times in the fifth inning to break open a tied game. Tyler Ladd had a hit and an RBI for CCHS (3-16).

Grass Lake 2, Addison 1: Jacob Collins had a hit and an RBI for Grass Lake. Blake Stark earned the win for Grass Lake with six strikeouts. 

Union City 10, Concord 3: Logan Lamb had two hits and all three RBIs for Concord. 

Union City 7, Concord 5: Levi Raymond had two hits and knocked in two runs for Concord (8-11). Tyler Carpenter, Timar Spratley, and Dustin Hamilton all had two hits for Concord. 

Lumen Christi 3, Northwest 2: Lumen Christi scored all three runs in the second inning. Connor Dancer had two hits for the Mounties. Easton Neitzke had two runs in three at bats for Northwest. The two teams tied 5-5 after nine innings. The Titans scored three times in the top of the seventh inning. 

Springport 8, Quincy 7: Quincy scored six times in the final two innings, but could not pull even with the Spartans. Timmy Lightner had a big game with two hits and three RBIs for Springport.  

Springport 9, Quincy 3: The Spartans scored six times in the fifth inning to break open a close game. Travis Riehle knocked in three runs in the Springport win. 

Coldwater 11, Western 4: Jack LaPorte had three hits and Caden Oliver had two hits – including a home run – and two RBIs for Western. 

Western 7, Coldwater 3: Nolan Wheeler earned the pitching win for Western, striking out five batters. Cohen Spitzer had three hits – including a home run – and knocked in four runs for Western (8-9-1). 

Softball

Dundee 9, Columbia Central 1: Ava Lyke hit a home run for the Golden Eagles’ only run of the night. 

Dundee 12, Columbia Central 0: The Golden Eagles could only muster one hit in the loss. 

Concord 20, Union City 0: Karlee Gamet knocked in four RBIs and Faith Moore and Iyla Weeks each had three hits for Concord. Riley Adams earned the shutout, allowing only one hit in three innings. 

Concord 9, Union City 8: Zoey Schultz hit a game-winning triple in the eighth inning for Concord. Karlee Gamet finished with two hits and five RBIs for the Yellow Jackets. Riley Adams earned the pitching win for Concord with 10 strikeouts. 

Northwest 10, Lumen Christi 0: Nevaeh Ingram and Cora Pilaczynski pitched a no-hitter for Northwest. Ingram struck out 11 batters for Northwest. Grace Pilaczynski and Maddy Rowley hit homers for the Mounties. 

Northwest 14, Lumen Christi 1: Cora Pilaczynski, Campbell Kloack, and Chloe Cooper had multiple hits for Northwest. Isabell Rogers struck out six batters for Northwest (22-1). Riley Okoniewski had two hits for the Titans. 

Springport 8, Quincy 6: Kelsey Speer hit a two-run single giving the Spartans the win in the bottom of the seventh inning. Speer also earned the win on the mound with 11 strikeouts for Springport (10-8). Chloe Neelis and Abby Heisler also had a pair of hits in the Springport win. 

Western 4, Coldwater 1: Abby Nieswender had three hits for Western at the plate and Hailey Whisman earned the win on the mound with 13 strikeouts for Western (16-4). 

Western 5, Coldwater 3: Peyton Budd and Nicole Shellberg hit homers for Western in the win. Budd’s home run won the game in the eighth inning for Western. Abby Nieswender had three more hits and drove in two runs. Hailey Whisman earned the win on the mound, striking out nine batters. 

Boys track and field

Addison, Manchester at Grass Lake: Grass Lake defeated Manchester, 71-62, and Addison, 73-52, at home on Tuesday.  Andrew Stockton won the 100-meter dash (11.2) and the 200-meter dash (23.0) for Grass Lake. Jack Easterday won the 110-meter hurdles (15.9), the 300-meter hurdles (41.7), and the high jump (5-11). 

Vandercook Lake at Napoleon: Napoleon defeated Vandercook Lake 92-20. Holden Van Poppel won the 200-meter dash (23.6), the 110-meter hurdles (15.5), and the long jump (19-4) for Napoleon. Andrew Cheney won the 100-meter dash (11.2) and Kyle Stiles won the discus (110-1) for the Jayhawks. 

East Jackson, Michigan Center at Hanover-Horton: Graham Gumper of Hanover-Horton won the 100-meter dash (11.92), the 200-meter dash (23.81), and the long jump (19-1.5). Rogan Melling won the 800-meter run (2:18), the 1,600-meter run (4:42), and the 3,200-meter run (11:01) for the Comets. Michigan Center was led by Tristan Car-Hernandez with wins in the 110-meter hurdles (19.99) and the 300-meter hurdles (48.97). The Cardinals also won the 400-meter relay (46.21), the 800-meter relay (1:37), and the 1,600-meter relay (4:07). Michael Allen of East Jackson finished second in the 3,200-meter run (11:11). Hanover-Horton defeated Michigan Center and East Jackson. The Cardinals defeated East Jackson. 

Girls track and field

Addison, Manchester at Grass Lake: Ava Viegelahn won the 800-meter run (2:35), the 1,600-meter run (6:00), and the 3,200-meter run (14:04) for Grass Lake. Gabi Lutchka won the shot put (33-6.25), Brayley Cook took first in the discus (84-1), and Lexus Bargesser won the 200-meter dash (26.5) for the Warriors. Grass Lake defeated Manchester, 88-47, and Addison, 78-53. 

Vandercook Lake at Napoleon: The Pirates defeated the Jayhawks 109-12. Kelsey Bradley won the 100-meter hurdles (18.3) and the 300-meter hurdles (54.2) for Napoleon. The Pirates won all four of the relays. Vandercook was led by Dylana Whalen who won the pole vault (7-0).  

East Jackson, Michigan Center at Hanover-Horton: Kaitlyn  Pilch won the 100-meter dash (13.82) and the 200-meter dash (28.36) for East Jackson. Brynn Mericle of East Jackson won the 100-meter hurdles (16.91) and the 300-meter hurdles (50.52). Hanover-Horton won three of the four relays taking the 800-meter relay (1:57), the 1,600-meter relay (4:39), and the 3,200-meter relay (12:38). 

Girls soccer

Northwest 1, Coldwater 0: The Mounties are 2-1-1 in their last four matches. 

Jackson 9, Ypsilanti 1: Rylie Dubois scored four times and Abby Hunt had two goals and three assists for Jackson. Sydney Langley scored two goals and Ellie Beck added the last goal for Jackson (6-3-1). 

Northwest 2, Hastings 2 (Monday)

Boys golf

Lumen Christi I-8 jamboree: Lumen Christi won another Interstate-8 Conference jamboree with a 168 four-man total. Northwest finished fourth (171) and Western was fifth (192) at Cascades Golf Course. Charlie Saunders and Adam Fuller shot 41s and Nash Hanchett and Josh Baker shot 43s for the Titans. Northwest was led by Isaac Anuszkewicz and Kamryn Banks with 42s and Ryan Stevens scoring a 43. Hayden Kim and Eli Herrington shot 47s to lead Western. 

Girls tennis

Western at Mason Quad: Western High School finished second to Battle Creek Lakeview 10-9. Bella Brushaber/Emma Reed finished undefeated at No. 2 doubles as did Dru Porter/Gabi Davis at No. 4 doubles.
