Dundee 11, Columbia Central 0: The Golden Eagles were able to collect only two hits in the game. 

Dundee 10, Columbia Central 5: Columbia Central scored four runs in the seventh inning, but it was too little and too late. Ryan Whipple had three hits and knocked in one run in the contest for CCHS (10-17). 

Jonesville 1, Concord 0: Jonesville scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to pull out the win. Isaac Waldron struck out five batters in seven-plus innings for Concord. 

Jonesville 8, Concord 2: Jonesville scored five times in the fourth inning to break open a 2-all game. Dustin Hamilton had a pair of hits for the Yellow Jackets. 

Lumen Christi 9, Marshall 2: Max McCluskey finished with two hits and three RBIs for the Titans.

Lumen Christi 2, Marshall 1: Gabe King knocked in both runs and earned the pitching win for the Titans with seven strikeouts on the mound. 

Coldwater 3, Northwest 2: JR Morrow finished with three of the Mounties’ six hits in the contest. 

Northwest 7, Coldwater 2: Northwest High School was led by JR Morrow with two hits and two RBIs. 

Union City 9, Springport 8: Gibson Overweg finished with two hits and two RBIs for the Spartans. 

Union City 6, Springport 2: Rylin Hale finished with a pair of hits for Springport. 

Western 5, Hastings 1: Nick Allen earned the pitching win for the Panthers in game one.

Western 9, Hastings 2: Ben Parrott pitched six innings and Alex Trudell closed out the contest for Western (17-7).

Softball

Dundee 18, Columbia Central 3: Kelsey Fausz finished with three hits for the Golden Eagles in the home loss. 

Dundee 12, Columbia Central 3: Columbia Central High School player Ava Lyke collected three of the Golden Eagles’ six hits in the contest. 

Jonesville 15, Concord 0: The Yellow Jackets were limited to one hit in the Big Eight Conference loss. 

Jonesville 19, Concord 4: Riley Adams finished with two strikeouts on the mound for Concord. 

Addison 13, East Jackson 3: Addison scored nine runs in the first inning against the Trojans. Kilah Boatright finished with two hits and two RBIs for East Jackson. 

Addison 11, East Jackson 1: Emily Uyttenhove finished with two of the Trojans’ three hits in the contest. 

Allen Park 10, Grass Lake 8: Olivia Turner finished with four hits and Bree Salts knocked in three runs for Grass Lake (25-3). 

Marshall 14, Lumen Christi 1: Codi Ruge finished with two of the Titans’ four hits in the contest. 

Marshall 16, Lumen Christi 1: The Titans were limited to four hits in the Interstate-8 Conference contest.

Napoleon 15, Michigan Center 1: Hayden Rendall had three hits – including a home run – and knocked in three runs for the Pirates. 

Napoleon 14, Michigan Center 1: Raye Burke knocked in five run at the plate and Caitlyn Fall pitched a one-hitter for Napoleon.

Coldwater 8, Northwest 0: Izzy Rogers collected two of the Mounties’ five hits in the game. 

Coldwater 5, Northwest 2: Ava Golightly knocked in two runs in the game for Northwest. 

Springport 13, Union City 0: Rebekkah Betz hit a pair of home runs and Rachel Potter added another dinger for the Spartans. Kelsey Speer earned the shutout on the mound for Springport. 

Springport 16, Union City 4: Spartan players Rebekkah Betz and Chloe Speer Combined for eight hits and eight RBIs in the win. 

Western 25, Hastings 0: Hailey Whisman struck out nine batters and went over the 700 mark for strikeouts in the win. Abby Nieswender recorded three of the Panthers’ 21 hits in the contest.

Western 20, Hastings 0: Abby Nieswender broke the school record with her 22nd double in the contest. Ashlyn Yeo picked up the shutout on the mound and recorded five strikeouts for Western (17-8).

Girls track and field

Pennfield 80, Lumen Christi 48: Kloe Franklin of Lumen Christi won the 100-meter dash (13.1) and the 200-meter dash (27.69), and Cheyenne Slider won the discus (95-5) and the shot put (24-5). 

Boys track and field

Lumen Christi 75, Pennfield 68: Luke Smith won the shot put (43-7) and discus (139-6) and Xavier Gallant won the 110-meter hurdles (18.27) and the 300-meter hurdles (46.51) for the Titans. 

Girls soccer

Quincy 4, Grass Lake 1:  Ella Easterday scored the only goal for Grass Lake on an assist from Ella Kraus.

Boys golf

Hanover-Horton Invitational: Hanover-Horton High School won its own invitational at Arbor Hills Golf Club with 315. Lumen Christi finished third (321), its “B” team finished fourth (334), Western finished fifth (343), Napoleon was eighth (363), Hanover-Horton 2 finished 10th (392), East Jackson was 11th (396), and Grass Lake tied for 12th (397). Top 10 golfers were Ryder Pickering of Hanover-Horton and Brendan Stevens of Lumen Christi who shot 74s, Nash Hanchett of Lumen Christi finished fourth scoring 75, Callahan Peterson of Lumen Christi shot a 77 for fifth place, Brady Applegate of Hanover-Horton tied for sixth with 78, and Eli Herrington of Western and Hoyt Wrona of Hanover-Horton tied for eighth at 79s. 

Pinckney 184, Jackson 186: Eli Bowman and Logan McKinney shot 46s to lead Jackson.
