Grass Lake 1, Columbia Central 0: Antonini Malinowski and Brayden Lape combined for a three-hitter for Grass Lake. Matt Gould had a pair of hits for the Warriors. Ethan Stewart struck out six batters in six innings for CCHS. 

Grass Lake 13, Columbia Central 3: Antonini Malinowski had two hits and knocked in two runs for the Warriors (7-5). Columbia Central could only muster two hits in the game. 

Clinton 10, Napoleon 5: Shaun King had two hits for the Pirates. The two teams only played a single game due to the condition of the field. 

Pinckney 8, Jackson 4: Michael Foust had two hits and scored two runs for Jackson in the game that was delayed in the sixth inning. 

Northwest 3, Western 2: Gage Race struck out 12 batters and allowed only two hits for the Mounties. Alex Thrun and Lonzy Robinson had two hits apiece for Northwest. Cohen Spitzer hit a home run and knocked in both runs for Western.

Western 4, Northwest 2: Nolan Wheeler had two hits and knocked in one run for Western. Wheeler also earned the pitching win on the mound with nine strikeouts. Trey Collard struck out eight batters and Koby Bastle had two hits for Northwest. 

Softball

Northwest 2, Western 0: Nevaeh Ingram of Northwest won a pitching duel with 17 strikeouts in the game. Grace Pilaczynski hit a home run and Ingram knocked in a run with a double for the Mounties. Hailey Whisman struck out 11 batters for Western in game one. 

Northwest 8, Western 0:  Northwest High School pitcher Nevaeh Ingram struck out 18 batters in game two, earning a second win in the doubleheader. Both teams were undefeated in the Interstate-8 Conference heading into the showdown. Maddy Rowley hit a home run and Ari Good had a pair of hits and knocked in three runs for Northwest (18-1). Western is 12-4 overall following the loss. 

Lincoln 15, Jackson 0: Savanna Kane pitched a three-inning no hitter for Lincoln. 

Boys track and field

Columbia Central tri-meet: Columbia Central defeated Ida, 73-55, but lost to Hillsdale, (93-43). Jacob Walker won the 800-meter run (2:12), the 1,600-meter run (4:29), and the 3,200-meter run (10:41). CCHS won the 800-meter relay (1:41) and the 3,200-meter relay (12:48).  

Homer, Springport at Concord: No scores were reported at www.athletic.net, but the Yellow Jackets won 12-of-17 events at home.  Malachi Boyd won the 100-meter dash (11.73) and the 200-meter dash (23.9) for Concord. Adair Artis won the 400-meter dash (53.85) and the 800-meter run (2:26), and Mekhi Wingfield won the high jump (6-2) and the long jump (21-1). The Yellow Jackets swept the four relays. 

Vandercook, Grass Lake at Michigan Center: Grass Lake won 12-of-17 events at the tri-meet. Jack Easterday won the 110-meter hurdles (16.63), the 300-meter hurdles (43.09), and the high jump (5-10) and teammate Matt Rankin won the 800-meter run (2:10), the 1,600-meter run (4:55), and the 3,200-meter run (11:11). Michael VanRiper won the 400-meter dash (53.85), Logan Heath won the shot put (37-7.75), and Trevor Kilpatrick won the pole vault (9-6) for Michigan Center. Kyle Stiles won the discus (118-5) and Andrew Cheney took first in the long jump (18-9) for the Jayhawks. 

Manchester, Hanover-Horton at Napoleon: Holden Van Poppel won the 100-meter dash (11.2), the 200-meter dash (22.7), the 400-meter dash (53.2), and the long jump (20-4) for Napoleon. Rogan Melling of Hanover-Horton won the 1,600-meter run (4:54) and the 3,200-meter run (10:12). 

 Girls track and field

Columbia Central tri-meet: The Golden Eagles defeated Hillsdale, 59-56, but lost to Ida, 80-46.  Melyssa McJennett won the long jump (13-6) and the 300-meter hurdles (55.1) for CCHS and Hope Wilkes won the 3,200-meter run (12:58). 

Homer, Springport at Concord: Homer won a majority of the events at Concord. Rylee Weeks won the 800-meter run (2:44) and Concord won the 3,200-meter relay (13:05). Cheyenne Davisson won the 100-meter hurdles (19.56), the Spartans won the 800-meter relay (2:09), and Saige Patterson took first in the long jump (13-9). 

Vandercook, Grass Lake at Michigan Center: Grass Lake won 13 of the events at Michigan Center. Kate Starkey won the 100-meter dash (13.79) and the 200-meter dash (28.83), Lorelia Malinowski won the 100-meter hurdles (21.35) and the 300-meter hurdles (56.36), Gabi Lutchka won the shot put (30-9) and the high jump (4-9), and the Warriors swept the relay events.  Elly Trefry won the pole vault (9-6) and Kendra Hochstedler won the long jump (12-4.75) for Michigan Center. 

Manchester, Hanover-Horton at Napoleon: Alyssa Budd of Napoleon won the 100-meter dash (13.1) and the long jump (16-6). Sophia Reynolds won the 800-meter run (2:40) and the 3,200-meter run (13:04) and Olivianna Watkins won the 100-meter hurdles (17.2) and the 300-meter hurdles (50.5) for Hanover-Horton. 

Girls soccer

Columbia Central 3, Ida 1: Alyssa Stewart scored a goal and added two assists for CCHS in the win. Macie Mullins and Jaden Bates scored for the Golden Eagles (7-2-1). 

Grass Lake 7, Quincy 1: The Warriors improved to 5-5-1 with the victory. Cassidy Ortbring scored three goals and Ella Kraus and Kylin Heidrich both added two goals for Grass Lake. Karly Penhallegon made16 saves in net for the Warriors.  

Lumen Christi 4, Harper Creek 3: The Titans won its second consecutive match with a road win the Interstate-8 Conference. 

Leslie 9, Michigan Center 1: Leslie scored five second-half goals to beat Michigan Center 9-1. Cecelia Scaife scored on a pass from Lydia Meyer to make it 1-1, but was Leslie dominated the match from there. Nicola Wittkopf had 11 saves for Michigan Center (3-4-2). 

Manchester 8, Springport 2: The Spartans fell to 5-2-1 with its second consecutive loss. 

Marshall 4, Western 0

Boys golf

LCAA at Ida jamboree: Columbia Central finished eighth with a four-man total of 225. Jack Begeman scored a 53 and Hayden Carter scored a 54 for the Golden Eagles. 

Springport Invitational: Napoleon won the scramble format with its top team scoring a 74, a second team scoring 80, and another added an 83. Springport’s top team shot an 84 and Concord carded an 89 at Burr Oak Golf Course.  

Jackson at Adrian: Adrian defeated Jackson 177-189 at Adrian. William Fex and Anthony Kulka scored 45s two-team event. 

I-8 at Coldwater: Lumen Christi defeated Marshall by three strokes and Northwest by 14 strokes at Coldwater. Western finished sixth with a four-man total of 184. Charlie Saunders shot a 39 and Joshua Baker and Adam Fuller shot 40s for the Titans. Jacob Swartz, Kamryn Banks, and Isaac Anuszkiewicz shot 43s for Northwest. Eric Bonser shot a 44 and Jake Bradley finished with a 46 for Western. 

Girls tennis

Columbia Central 8, Onsted 0: The Golden Eagles finished the Southern Michigan Tennis Conference season undefeated with a road win at Onsted. Carolina Collingsworth/Madeline Maki earned an easy 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles; Lily Ellison/Morgan Fausz lost only one game for CCHS at No. 2 doubles; and Morgan Wilber/Kaley Thivierge also won 6-0 and 6-0 at No. 3 doubles. Onsted forfeited the No. 4 doubles match.
