Clinton 11, Columbia Central 1: Conor Rentfrow of Columbia Central had the only hit in the contest. 

Columbia Central 11, Clinton 10: The Golden Eagles scored three times in the sixth inning to pull out the win. Nick Wilding finished with three hits and Ryan Whipple knocked in three runs for CCHS. 

Homer 9, Concord 4: Isaac Waldron finished with a hit and one RBI for the Yellow Jackets. 

Homer 8, Concord 3: Homer scored eight runs in their last two at-bats. Jordan Medellin had two hits and knocked in two runs for Concord. 

Lumen Christi 6, Northwest 1: Cooper Cumberworth finished with two hits and an RBI for the Mounties. The Mounties were limited to two hits in the contest. 

Lumen Christi 7, Northwest 0: Nathan Hinckley finished with three hits and Gabe King struck out 11 batters on the mound for Lumen Christi. Will Herman struck out six batters in five innings for Northwest. 

Reading 5, Springport 1: Talan Collier recorded one hit and knocked in the lone run for the Spartans. 

Reading 8, Springport 4: Gibson Overweg had a pair of hits and an RBI for Springport. 

Western 5, Coldwater 1: Troy Gilpin pitched a complete game for the Panthers to secure the win. 

Western 6, Coldwater 0: Nick Allen and Caden Oliver combined for the shutout win for the Panthers in game two. Western improved to 14-4 on the season with the victory. 

Softball

Clinton 6, Columbia Central 1: Gianna Evans finished with two of the Golden Eagles’ four hits in the contest. 

Clinton 12, Columbia Central 3: The Golden Eagles were limited to three hits in the contest. 

Homer 13, Concord 4: Homer scored six times in the sixth inning to pull out the win. Zoe Schultz knocked in two runs and Cieara Barrett finished with two hits – including a home run – for the Yellow Jackets. 

Homer 12, Concord 2: Hannah Stimer of Concord collected two of the Yellow Jackets four hits in the contest. 

Northwest 10, Lumen Christi 0: Lucy Bivens earned the shutout for the Mounties and Ari Good had three hits and knocked in five runs for the Mounties. 

Lumen Christi 8, Northwest 2: Bella Wrozek gave up only one earned run in the victory for Lumen Christi. Allison O’Dowd, Bree Okoniewski, and Kadance Hinkley each had two hits for the Titans. 

Springport 12, Reading 4: Brenna Crittenden finished with three hits and four RBIs for the Spartans. Chloe Speer also recorded four hits for Springport. 

Springport 7, Reading 2: Brenna Crittenden continued her hot hitting with four more RBIs for Springport. 

Western 2, Coldwater 1: Hailey Whisman knocked in the winning run in the sixth inning and earned the pitching win with 12 strikeouts for the Panthers. Western High School Coach Tonya Bassett earned her 400th career win with the victory. 

Coldwater 1, Western 0: Alivia Hall finished with a pair of hits for Western in the loss. 

Girls track and field

Addison, Manchester at East Jackson:  Addison defeated Manchester (76-59) and East Jackson (86-44) and Manchester defeated the Trojans (81-45). Mariah Kerley won the shot put (33-0.5) and the discus throw (90-4) for East Jackson. Other winners for the Trojans were Priya Mericle in the 400-meter run (1:08) and Addisyn Rudd in the pole vault (8-0). 

Napoleon, Hanover-Horton at Grass Lake: Grass Lake High School defeated Napoleon (84-52) and Hanover-Horton (70.5-66.5). Hanover-Horton defeated Napoleon 82-54 at Grass Lake. Grace Bullock of Grass Lake was the star of the night winning the 100-meter dash (12.7), the 200-meter dash (27.2), and the 400-meter dash (1:02). Olivia Perrine of Hanover-Horton won the 1,600-meter run (5:50) and the 3,200-meter run (13:21) and teammate Olivianna Watkins took first place in the 100-meter hurdles (17.6) and the 300-meter hurdles (49.5).  

Tecumseh 113, Jackson 23: Kyson Cooper of Jackson won the jump (19-1.5) and the 300-meter hurdles (42.19). 

Lumen Christi at Western: Western defeated Lumen Christi 98-61, but lost to Harper Creek 87.5 – 75.5. Harper Creek also defeated Lumen Christi 117 – 46. Kayda Herrick of Western won the 100-meter hurdles (18.43) and the high jump (4-10) and teammate Bayli Stewart took first place in the long jump (16-1.5) and the 200-meter dash (27.4). Madison Osterberg of Lumen Christi won the 1,600-meter run (4:54) and the 3,200-meter run (10:36). 

Boys track and field

Addison, Manchester at East Jackson: Manchester defeated East Jackson (89-48) and Addison (105-32) and East Jackson defeated the Panthers (61-51). Michael Allen of East Jackson won the 1,600-meter run (4:46) and the 3,200-meter run (10:35) for the Trojans. Randy Reddick won the 200-meter dash (24.47), and Javin Mericle took the 800-meter run (2:07) for East Jackson. 

Napoleon, Hanover-Horton at Grass Lake: Napoleon High School defeated Grass Lake (95-42) and Hanover-Horton (75-62). The Comets defeated Grass Lake 95-42 at GLHS. Multiple winners included Lucas Cain of Hanover-Horton in the shot put (42-3) and discus (132-2), teammate Rogan Melling in the 1,600-meter run (4:54) and the 3,200-meter run (10:43), DeVonta Habern of Napoleon in the high jump (6-1) and long jump (20-2), and teammate Holden Van Poppel in the 110-meter hurdles (15.0) and tying for first in the 300-meter hurdles (42.7). 

Tecumseh 93, Jackson 40: Jackson’s Keiyera Johnson won the 100-meter hurdles (15.61), the 300-meter hurdles (47.72), and the long jump (17-2.5). 

Lumen Christi at Western: Western High School defeated Lumen Christi (130-33) and Harper Creek (104-59). Harper Creek defeated the Titans 123-39. Cooper Singleton of Western won the 800-meter run (2:02) and the 1,600-meter run (4:37) as the Panthers won 12-of-17 events. Lumen Christi was led by Isaiah Dinverno who won the 3,200-meter run (10:21) and Alex Pastrioza who took first place in the 200-meter dash (22.96). 

Girls soccer

Springport 8, Maple Valley 0: The Spartans are 6-4-1 following the win over Maple Valley. 

Coldwater 2, Western 1: Arianna Mulkey scored the only goal for Western (4-9 overall). 

Boys golf

Big Eight Jamboree Springport: Springport High School finished sixth with 255. Maximilian Argumedo led the Spartans with 54. Connor Stevens and Lleyton Bauman of Concord also tied for 16th individually with 54s.  

Western at Adrian Invitational: The Panthers finished fourth with a four-man total of 363. Western was led by Eric Bonser with an 84 and Riley Fridd scoring an 89 at Lenawee Golf Club.
