Michigan Center 35, Jonesville 20: The Cardinals look strong for a playoff spot after posting a 7-2 overall record. Jonesville finishes the season at 3-6.
Manchester 35, Columbia Central 28: The Flying Dutchmen pulled out the game with a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Manchester is now 6-3 overall while CCHS falls to 4-5.
Grass Lake 28, Hanover-Horton 6: The Warriors finish the regular season with a 6-3 record while Hanover-Horton is 2-7.
Concord 76, Athens 0: The Yellow Jackets finish the regular season with a 6-3 record following the impressive win. They hope to get into the 8-Man Playoffs for the first time in school history.
Western 65, Coldwater 7: The Panthers finished with its best regular-season record (8-1) since 2018 with the home victory.
Northwest 36, Marshall 6: The Mounties finish over .500 for the second consecutive season and first time since 2007-2008. The Redhawks are 2-7 for the season.
Stockbridge 40, Dansville 0: The Panthers finish the season with three wins in its last four contests. Stockbridge ends with a 4-5 record.
Hillsdale 48, Onsted 42: The Hornets were able to pull out the win in a contest of 2-6 teams.
Haslett 18, Jackson 8: The Vikings finished the season with a 4-5 record following the non-conference loss to Haslett.
Leslie 59, Homer 8: Leslie High School earned an easy win at home in the Cascades Conference Crossover game.
Girls Cross Country
Lumen Christi at Catholic League Finals: Lumen Christi Catholic High School won the title by scoring a mere 24 points in the final at Willow Metropark. Senior Madison Osterberg won the 5K event in 17:50. Teammate Samantha Schroeder was third (19:40) and Macy Fazekas of LCCHS finished fourth (20:03).
Cross Country
Lumen Christi at Catholic League Finals: Lumen Christi won the event with 50 points on Friday. The Titans packed three runners in the top eight as Isaiah Dinverno was third (16:24), Gannon Shore was right behind him (17:04), and Gibson Shore placed eighth (17:45).
Boys District D-3 Soccer Final

Greenhills 1, Grass Lake 0 at Stockbridge: Ann Arbor Greenhills scored with eight minutes remaining in the first half and made it stick to win the Division 3 district tournament at Stockbridge. Grass Lake finishes the season with a 15-4-1 record. Greenhills advances to the D-3 Regional Tournament Tuesday at Notre Dame Prep.
Girls Golf State Tournament

Division 4 at Bedford Valley, Battle Creek: Columbia Central High School is fourth as a team after scoring 378 at Bedford Valley Golf Course near Battle Creek on a cold and rainy Friday. The tournament was stopped for an hour due to sloppy conditions. CCHS golf Logan Bentley is tied for fourth individually with a 79 and Napoleon High School golfer Anna McCubbins is tied for sixth following an 82. The top 10 golfers receive medals and all-state considerations. Michigan Center is 17th as a team with a four-person score of 464. Kylie McKee led the Cardinals with a 94. Junior Hannah Stimer shot a 104 for Concord and is currently in 42nd place.
Boys State Tennis Tournament

Division 3 at Kalamazoo: Rain and tennis didn’t match as the state tournament was moved inside Friday in the Kalamazoo area. Most brackets played a pair of matches. Derek Olivas of Western advanced to the semifinal round in No. 4 singles for the Panthers. Look for complete results – maybe – tomorrow evening in the Division 3 state tennis finals.
