Maple Valley JV 48, Vandercook Lake 6: Kyle Cavins scored the only touchdown for the Jayhawks on homecoming night. Cavins ran 50 yards for a touchdown run in the first quarter to pull the Jayhawks within two at 8-6. But that is all the offense VCL could muster. Defensively, Aiden McCullar recovered a fumble for the Jayhawks to begin the second half. Vandercook Lake finishes the season with an 0-8 record having played a varsity schedule for the first five games of the season and junior varsity teams the final three contests.
Cross Country
JPEC At Sand Creek Invitational: Noah Blondke finished 10th (20:52) and Corey Dubnicki placed 12th (21:08) for Jackson Prep & Early College. JPEC finished second to Morenci at the meet.
Girls cross country
Sand Creek Invitational: Kariana Carpenter finished sixth for JPEC with a time of 23:50. No score was posted by JPEC.
